My position is that you didn't take the time to check how other classes have been affected and complain as if your class is the only one affected by build-altering changes.

This is an MMO. If you want one suit of armor go play a single player game XD
LOL @ the make another build. Perhaps the ability to read a comment and comprehend it is also something vital.
I have no problem making another build - I would just like to know in advance which build they will deem is unworthy next update. This is what happens when you fix something that is nt broken.

You said in your OP that 1 skill helped you beat 3 different styles of play. This is why Dizzying caught a nerf. Just make a new build or slot a different skill. There's ways around it.

So ... your argument is that because the entire build is centred on having a stun, once that stun is removed bad luck because it was effective in killing people (but had simple counters btw)
I am happy with that as long as we apply it evenly to ALL builds. Anything that is effective needs to be removed.
Sorcs, Templar, Necro , etc
Lets start with Bone Goliath that is silly
Lets remove pets from all BG
etc
Do you see my point - it seems you are happy if it doesnt happen to your build.
Again my point is I want to know what else they will decimate before I bother to invest time into this game building something else. Seems they reward faceroll stick and dress builds (as they have since beta).
Seems there is a basic lack of comprehension skills happening here.
Not an uncommon thing these days.
When you complain about wings being nerfed that is hugely different then destroying the ability of dizzy.
You do not build your rotation around wings. Without wings or a nerfed wings you do not become unplayable.
That is the difference between a tune and destroying a playstyle.
Hey , argue all you like, that is your right but understand a plethora of your fellow players are super pissed off at the moment. This is not good for anyone, especially when you log on and there are not as many people playing.
I agree with what you guys are saying but by removing the dizzy swing stun they have destroyed a vital part of that build.

You can still stun with dizzying swing. Utilise a partially charged heavy to stun them when they're off-balance. For me, dizzying was buffed. Many builds don't have access to off-balance, it's a damage and sustain boost.
Off-balance stun into a burst ability is much more unpredictable than dizzy spam. Don't be so meladramatic about the "nerf"
Sounds better now, thank you. I tried to build Frost Tank (Iceheart, Ice Furnace, Ysgramor's Birthright) with my Warden before the last patch. Hm, I think, it can be a positive change, after all.logarifmik wrote: »The only thing I don't understand is why they took away 8% passive Magicka bonus from Northern Storm (Warden). They probably wanted more variety with the ultimates, rather than slotting stuff you might not use just for the passive. But that skill actually ranks up to 15% magicka at max rank, for 30s. With bloodspawn ulti-gen you'd have really good uptime
Again basic comprehension problems displayed here.
The issue has nothing to do with a crutch. All builds have one or two abilities that are central, crucial to them. Dizzy and the stun was central to the build. Removing the stun has destroyed the build.
NO RPG EVER does this lightly. The idea behind not doing this is that you alienate your playerbase by picking a build to destroy.
The only reason you are being this way is that your build is not demolished. Again you should be concerned as many people are absolutely filthy about it.
Still you are a contrarian so go ahead and be that way.

Again, the issue is a crutch. Every build has a skill or two crucial to them, not every build has 1 skill that counters multiple play styles. There's a difference from being crucial and the only skill you use. Dizzying swings is still very much viable. You don't think so because it's not a crutch.
EVERY MMO EVER DOES THIS. It's called a set meta, you don't want every player using the same sets. It's boring and bad for the health of the game. The game is designed to last for 10years, it won't do that if the entire player base has one set to farm for and 5 skills that everyone uses.
"The only reason you are being this way is that your build is not demolished. Again you should be concerned as many people are absolutely filthy about it."
No, I've already been through this and I'm here to tell you bitching on the forums isn't going to fix your skill. It doesn't matter how many people are mad about it.
No, I'm not being a contrarian. I'm telling you reality and you don't like it.
