I've been moaning to myself a lot this week about the ridiculous loading screens and boot rates in the game, and my husband's been reading out all kinds of negative forum comments re. other games that he plays. But we both still log in to ESO fairly eagerly, every day we can. So I thought why not mention a few things that I really like about ESO?

1) The ability to name your pets and mounts.
2) Some of the dialogue, especially in the Mage's Guild storyline, is top notch.
3) Most of the voice acting is pretty good, and some of it is wonderful.
4) The overland is beautiful.
5) No kill stealing.
6) PVP designated to specific areas.
7) The best game I've played when it comes to a generally helpful, polite and friendly player base. Not too many Wuckfits running around Tamriel.

    love the dialogues as well
I also like the lore of the franchise and:
Having the freedom to play in your own style

Tons to love about the game. Art and design, music, character customization, the sheer volume of quest and story material. Top notch voice acting. I enjoy the combat style of manually blocking and dodging vs WoW's somewhat wooden combat. I like how every class can be every race, wear every weapon and armor and play every role, depending on what skills you use.

    1) Overall, cooperation is rewarded — no kill or loot stealing.
    2) Fun dynamic combat, including blocking and dodging, and no skill cooldowns.
    3) Amazing world, art, voice acting and lore. And I love the music, and noticed after the patch that at least two new songs have been added to my favorite bard in Rimmen. <3
    4) So much to do and see and explore!
    5) Housing is so much fun and I love the freedom to build and customize!
    6) I can create my characters how I want, not only play how I want, but look how I want!

I’m sure there is more, but those are what come to my mind first and I cannot overstate the importance of the sixth to me!

Agreed! It used to drive me potty back in Fable 2, when if your character was maxed out in abilities, they'd waddle around like a brick s***house whatever your choices, which completely took away from the point of eating celery vs pies, lol. I especially love the outfit system. I bought a couple of outfits early on, and now I can run around looking just how my character should look (either unobtrusive and practical, or fun and practical, depending on my mood) however much I change my armor stats.

    1) Art department is always awesome. Motifs, furniture, Architecture, Most of the zones in general look fantastic.
    2) Music is also great.
    3) Group events, dragons, world bosses, dolmens. There all pretty fun when you have a group.
    4) Pvp, I really like the Capture/Defend Keeps gameplay. Its what got me into eso in the first place and has always been something I spend alot of time playing.
    5) Long format trials, its fun to get a group of friends together and spend like an hour and a half doing a trial.
    6) Some dungeons are pretty cool. Im not really into that sort of content but bloodroot, scalecaller, crypt 2 and vault of madness are pretty fun.

    My magden <3

    The awesome people I've met.

Craglorn- I love the aesthetic/atmosohere and find the lore really interesting.

Clockwork City- again, aesthetic and atmosphere. The Dwemer ruins have always been my favorite part of Skyrim, and it feels like a steampunk-ier version. And I swear I'm not usually a lore person, but again... Fascinating
