Master staves rework. What would it look like?

If I was given the chance to change these weapons to benefit pve as well as PVP.
Wish it would buff dots by like 10% and be the magic version of deadly strike that Stam has.
Or if it reduced the cost of abilities by 8%. That would make it well worth having.
But to buff one half of one skill is very minimal if you ask me.

all the offensive Masters weapons add a set value of damage do the associated skill. And there may be a weapon for ele drain int he future.
maybe if they added a bonus to the DoT as well, since it has now been nerfed. But the reason Master Bow is used so much if because it affects all skills against the target.

✭The problem with the Master Destro staff is that ZOS changed Destructive Touch to behave more like a regular single target dot instead of a dot+utility effect skill but made one morph trade the dot effect and range for the stun/knockback/inmobilize. You can't change it to make it work similar to the Master Bow because it would only work with 1 morph. Increasing the dot damage would also only work with 1 morph.
You could do something like remove the cost reduction and add a 10 seconds 300 Spell Damage buff after using the skill, maybe increase the direct damage buff a little or just remove it and increase it on the Clench morph, so one morph is dot+range and the other is spammable+utility effect, in both cases a Spell Damage buff would be useful.

Somber97866✭✭✭✭✭Look at Blackrose staves........never made it to the top .........Perfected asylum was nerfed when weapons become two pieces of a set..........and now master staves. They are now just an item with limited situational use in my bank. I thought with the buff to the three piece sets they would make a comeback but........:(0

✭The master's lighting staff is a potent AOE that hits like a hard cast frags which is nice but the other two leave a lot to be desired. Would liek to see some stats added on to them and the maelstorm gear0 -
Somber97866✭✭✭✭✭They had extra ( bonus) stats but the criers got to it and ZOS removed them a while back.
Why wouldn't they make them like the master bow though I wonder? The bows are almost always OP asf.
IM NOT SAYING THEY NEED A NERF OR ADJUSTMENT! For the love of GOD , no more nerf's!
They do need the extra bonus stats back at the least in my opinion
