I'm playing a tank most of my time but after Elsweyr and their infamous necromancers invaded tamriel I did encountered some problems, mostly visuals that were affecting me and also others gameplay experience. Sadly there is one particular pets whom goes even further, by blocking players view. The Flesh Atronach ultimate. This particular ultimate often caused me to lose the clear picture of the raid, especially as a tank, caused me to miss taunt or lose adds in the group or not see mechanics such as boss heavy attacks.
Outside fights, most of the times, those big fellas also block the interaction with shrines, doors, npcs, objects and characters.
They also break the experience when you see a big crocodile or a pony on top of the table in a bank. etc.
Please consider this and try to find a solution to allow a player to turn off pets related and not only to the skills.
Among the pets there are following but not limited at:
- Player pets (dogs, cats, ponies, butterflies, birds, dinosaurs, cars, spaceships, etc)
- Sorcerer skills: Storm Atronach, Unstable Familiar, Winged Twilight and their respective morphs
- Necromancer skills: Frozen Colossus, Blastbones, Skeletal Mage and their respective morphs
- Warden skills: bear... etc
- SETS pets, such as Engine Guardian, Maw of the Infernal, and other crafted, dungeons, raids, and overland sets.
- assistants and quest NPCs. There were are some quests out there in which an army of NPCs are following you and each of the player from your group or around... not funny.
If someone is willing to do it please go ahead and document this more.
