Yeah Senchal looks cool and all but is there no place to pick up and drop off crafting writs? :(

Few of the DLC zones do.

...Thinking about it, none of them have one.

    Think some more.

Cyrodill's Imperial City Sewers, Wrothgar (Orsinium), Hew's Bane (Abah's Watch), and Clockwork City (The Brass Fortress) have two Crafting Writ Notice Boards, at least one crafting station for each of the seven crafts, and Quartermaster Depot delivery containers.

The DLCs for Gold Coast (Kvatch), Murkmire (Lilmoth) and, apparently, Southern Elsweyr (Senchal), have at least one crafting station for each of the seven crafts, but do not have any writ notice boards or delivery containers. (Note: in the Base Game, this is also true for the city of Skywatch in Auridon but writ notice boards, a crafting station for each craft, and a delivery area can be found in Vulkhel Guard instead. However, the developers also forgot to add a Jewelry Crafting Station to The Hollow City when Jewelry Crafting was introduced.)

Each DLC named above adds terrain to the world map of Tamriel. Other DLCs do not add terrain, and instead add Dungeons and/or Trials to existing Zones, but not to any other DLC (if I recall correctly  ). Often such DLCs have crafting stations and workshops within the sites for their Dungeon(s) or Trial(s) but lack any writ notice boards or delivery containers.

It is worth noting that Crafting Writs were not a feature of the original TESO design. Each Zone had crafting stations for six crafts, so players could develop characters with Crafting Skills, and make equipment and consumables for their characters and for other players' characters, usually by offering the items for sale in Guild Stores. IIRC, Crafting Writs were introduced in a patch in the first quarter of 2015.
