I did just one battleground because I had no more time sadly, but I could get my first impression.

Damage overall seems to be a lot less and everybody can hold on for more time, but seems that specially the tanks.

I played capture the flag and there was one templar protecting one of them, that die only after the focus of the 3 of us, but also after some seconds and without help of any of his friends.

Me personally I found also more difficult to kill anyone, fights take a lot more time and sometimes can be very long.

I liked it somehow... It gives more play, but I have to test it more to see if it can somehow affect the objective of battlegrouns.

I played with my sorcerer stamina and I had the chance to test Bound armaments... I have to say... It is a joke... The damage is to low... Maybe around 1,5k x blade... In my opinion a waste of stamina and time. I prefer to Spam my main ability because otherwise I lose damage and also maybe my objective from focus.

Anyone noticed the same as me?

Its a nearly impossible task to try to balance the following three separate things:

    PvP with CP
    PvP without CP (BGs)
    PvE

when the only difference between PvP (both with and without CP) is one Battle Spirit modifier.

I find ZOS swings wildly on balance and tends to break different content with each attempt to fix a problem they created in one of these three.

Tank 'meta' was never a real thing in CP PvP. Combat has always been fast in CP because CP increases damage by more than it does defenses. CP PvP allows regen builds that don't drop a beat on spamming purge, which completely counters any kind of dot damage, while dots in no CP pvp where ridiculously hard for most classes to deal with and heal through with little counter.

At the same token, this scale back in dot dps has literally made some of the high end trial content impossible in PvE and not helped new players engage in content.

I still think they need to really look at the battle spirit system again, and do more with it to differentiate between cyrodiil, battlegrounds and PvE. They have plenty of opportunity like adding extra impen and lowering health regen, tweaking health pools higher etc for Cyrodiil that will help the content with lag and make it more accessible to people, without affecting battlegrounds (which tend to be a little better balanced imo).

Edit Note: Somehow I mentioned the wrong company because I was listening to a youtuber complain about the other company >_>

I just play Cyrodiil PvP but I have noticed an increase in tanky players.

    Templars have always been "tanky."

I haven't noticed any difference, aside from Sorcs being god-tier- again....

I didn't log in today but I've also already noticed an increase in tanky players. Maybe we should found a club or write a book to tell everyone about the experience we made in the 30 mins of the new patch. Tank meta so horrible. DoTs were so great. I could use them and watch enemies die, now I have to cast other skills as well. Unfair. Unbalanced. Get good.
