✭✭Loading screens time has almost doubled in my pc after the update.

✭✭✭✭✭When I played on PC, I almost always experienced an extremely long loading screen after an update, but it was usually just for that first time of logging in after an update. It seemed to be worse on my laptop than on my desktop PC, possibly because of differences in CPU speeds and other technical differences.
Now that I'm playing on a MacBook Air (until I replace the hard drive on my PC or just buy a new PC), it doesn't seem to be as bad, at least not in terms of infinite loading screens. On the other hand, 99% of the time I can't get the game to close properly so I end up having to use force quit.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!1 -

✭Nice I've tried to log in twice now. I enter password, click log in and it has a loading screen for a while until it tells me I'm disconnected due to inactivity.

Ragnork✭✭✭✭✭Yep - just got caught by this. Travelling from Glenumbra - Crosswych wayshrine to Grahtwood Cormount wayshrine - got caught in a +/- 3 minute load screen.
So took the next mission and off to Alik'r , Kulati Mines, 5+ minutes in load screen. Suspect I am going to be timed out for lack of activity....Edited by Ragnork on October 21, 2019 7:51PM0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Yep - just got caught by this. Travelling from Glenumbra - Crosswych wayshrine to Grahtwood Cormount wayshrine - got caught in a +/- 3 minute load screen.
Is that "+/- 3 minute" load screen until you killed the game, or arrived at your destination? I got stuck entering a delve yesterday, and after several minutes (did not count as had wandered off and come back) I killed the game. On re-entry, I was still outside the delve.XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus

The nasty thing is that there is now a 30 second "sit in the corner" while the game deals with Important things after failing to exit from the loading screen. I have yet to encounter this, but I am sooooo looking forward to it when I do.XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus

Define long! I often get 3 -4 minute 'loading' screens when travel between homes or waypoints.
Was happy recently to get fibre optic to home with massive speed increases and notacibly shorter load screens in ESO.
I just 'ported' from grand psijic villa to mara's kiss public house - about ten minutes ago - still on loading screen.
Option1 - wait
option 2 - force quit
result - peaved that this issue is stopping progress of any kind.

Then - a minute trying - only to get error = unable to connect make sure you have a valid internet connection!
One minute 5 seconds - timeout - THEN continue to try to log in!
Gonna restart PC then try again later.
'As for Golden rule' - first of all this is not an acceptable excuse. Second, we can tell be simply reading this forum that long loading screens is a long time and ongoing problem.

✭Yeah. Haven't had a load screen yet that was under 2 minutes. Even reloading ui and even just loading from the login screen to the character select. Really annoying.
