Think you are right about the reduction in sale times - but have been trying to remember when last sale was - or if there is a pattern to when occur but can’t find much.
Lakemire xanmeer was the same price. So wraithhome isn’t unique in that aspectdarthgummibear_ESO wrote: »People have been asking for a vampired themed house for a long time...so ZOS finally makes one, and they make it a mega-mansion that is now the most expensive purchase in the game. Seriously ZOS...screw you.

Yeah talk about some 1st world problems. People don't believe me when I tell them that a virtual doll house in a video game costs $140. They think I'm just exaggerating. When i insist that this garbage is actually happening, I always hear "well, there's a sucker born every minute" in response. Can't even argue there.
As has been pointed out to me, being on a forum for a video game means the only problems discussed here are going to be 1st world problems.
I dare say most people who can afford it have indulgences they like to spend money on. It is no better to spend that money on designer stuff, going to a concert, getting a fancy meal, etc., etc. Being virtual does not make it somehow more frivolous when we’re talking about entertainment; different people enjoy different things.

Fair enough. Finding value in life is certainly subjective. For me and everyone I've talked with about it though, it seems completely bonkers to spend more than twice the amount of the actual game on these things.
Kudos to the marketing team...I guess

None of my characters are evil enough for that house... and they're all vamps. I don't think suitable decorations exist ingame for it, what would you put, craft stations?
"Here's where the Lord of the Nether Realm makes his Fishy Sticks?"
That house is not where an adventurer lives, but where whatever the adventurer is going to fight and kill lives.
So, you can get a couple of friends, go clear VOM, then live there for a few hours for free. Want to "live there" again tomorrow? Just go run the dungeon again. Or you can go "live" in COH the same way for a day.
Then go back to Humblemud and eat paste.
Or just travel to a guildmate's who got it and pretend it's yours.
JK, would make a great project and suspect the "furnishings" would be mostly all lighting.

Why not leave it in the crown store permanently? Ppl would save money ( or make sure ESO plus was update ) every month so I ( we) could be able to purchases. One way or another it's money in the bank!
