It’s twelve days, which I think has been the duration of events since I started playing this past summer. It seems to be a good timeframe, long enough to enjoy but not grow tired of it. From other MMO’s, when an event goes more than two weeks, it starts to lose something, like holiday decorations left up too long, and those who want to maximize rewards earned start feeling burned out. IMHO, an event ending with you wishing it had lasted a bit longer is a good thing. I enjoyed this past event and am looking forward to Witches festival.

We just ended an event today, ten days in between events is not bad at all, especially one that gave us extra gold and experience!3 -

I'll miss the Gold bonus; It was sweet to make gold that quick. I was hoping to Farm more gold but real life gets in the way. Will the witches event have a gold bonus or will it just be an xp bonus?1 -

ZOS kinda painted themselves into a corner with the indrik/feathers/berries stuff, and then the year-long dragon story arc with Elsweyr on top of it. It pressed them into having at least 16 events through the calendar year, which is more than they used to have when I started playing about 3 years ago or so. Plus more DLC's & chapters being released call for more anniversary-type events. Actually there weren't 16 events, because they had such a long 5 year anniversary event that ran for 5 weeks. Even so, I think there are about 12 or 13 events this year. So they didn't have a lot of choice but to shorten the length of some events when possible/necessary, and leave out some events as well, such as the summer Midyear Mayhem, and no Clockwork City event this year, in order for players to get at least a breather before the next one starts up. For instance, Witches Festival will be starting only 10 days after the end of Dragon Rise.
Another thing that affects the length also, is that over the last couple years, they've occasionally had an issue or two during events, and they lengthened events because of those issues on occasion. So when the events this year are more along the lines of the intended durations, they can sometimes seem short compared to some of the previous years' events.Edited by fgoron2000 on October 14, 2019 6:32PM3 -

And yes the Elsweyr event was to sell Elsweyr that is obvious, the witch mother event is old and don't require any dlc.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

I bought the Coven house last year, and like you I was worried I wouldn't be able to collect all the Hollowjack motifs so I bought them in guild stores before the event started.
It was one of the biggest mistakes I've made in the game. Not only the event dropped so many of them I was able to learn the full motif in two alts, the prices dropped a lot.
If you're in a guild, ask your guild master for the pages you don't have. I'm sure all guilds have a bunch of the pages in their banks.
