Which event dates are correct?

Why are the event dates listed in the website news article #slaydragonssavecats:

slightly different (one day out) to the ones on the sweepstake rules:

https://esossl-a.akamaihd.net/uploads/Events/SlayDragonsSaveCats/Sweepstakes/Rules/ZeniMax_ESO_Q4_2019_Sweepstakes_Official_Rules_EN.pdf

which seem to be right as the Dragonrise event ended today (14th) NOT 13th as said on the website event page. And the actual Dragonrise event page says this date as well.

So which is correct?!

Yeah I realized that now -- *** reading comprehension, sorry. My mind was set on Witches Festival.

Well we know which answer is correct at least, since the event lasted till today. I'm guessing bad communication, as usual.

The sweepstakes entry is the correct times for the exact end of the event. The news article merely kept it very simple so is correct enough.

I'm not sure which end date you're looking at in the news article-- the Dragonrise Event end date?

If so, it makes sense that it would end on the 13th, because that event isn't the same as the event where we earn tickets. Rather, it's the promotional event that gave us the opportunity to earn a pet, etc.; earn the XP boost; and earn the gold boost.

Why would that event end the same day as the event for earning tickets? So we could earn the XP and gold boosts on the last day but then not even be able to benefit from those boosts for a single day?
