No event tickets because dragon won't lay down and show as dead

PC/NA.............This morning I helped kill the dragon for my event tickets but after killing the dragon, he doesn't show as dead and, therefore, I can't loot him for my event tickets and gold box. This was at the dragon location close to Star Haven Wayshrine. The dragon registered as 'dead' for the quest. I tried 'reloadui' and there was no change. I relogged and then the dragon showed as dead but not lootable. I would really like my event tickets and gold box. @ZOS_BillE @ZOS_GinaBruno

Is it possible you relogged into a different instance? (that definitely looks like a different dragon than the one you killed) I imagine Elsweyr is busy enough even without the event that there might be more than 2 instances all with dead dragons.
It's rather unlikely that in the time it took you to relog they killed an entirely different dragon in the same instance.

In any case, @ZOS_GinaBruno ZOS, can we go back to cake-eating for tickets please?

I don't think so because the sabre cat that I killed up on the hill was still lying there dead but it shouldn't matter because the dragon in the first pic was dead. Everyone else looted him and left but he was still standing there looking alive for me. The kill counted for the quest as you can see in the upper right corner.

I might add that this is the second time this has happened. The first time, I let it go but I don't want to lose out on two more tickets.
