Does anyone else feel Wardens spell animations take too long?

Look at the netch and artic/polar winds. By the times polar winds gets done with the rediculious animation you have 2 secs of heals left. The netch is just as bad and the pts the uptime is being nerfed so the spell will feel more like a chore to me than a beneficial spell. Anyone else feel this way?

    More of a QoL thing here. Luckily with warden - soon as the ability like Betty, Winds, any beneficial is used the effects take place right when used and not with animation. Most if not all warden abilities has a minor delay. Except for Dive and Swarm (plus their morphs). They have... a vastly noticeable gap between activation and finish.

    Dive and Swarm current and PTS feel and look like an extreme example of a snipe desync - you see motion/action and nearly, depending on how smooth the game/server is running have to wait 0.5 seconds to 1 second for the effect's animation to continue/finish off. Not including location in the game, where the mob could be dead long after Dive / Swarm has been used, but not before the animation has been completed - that is annoying.

    Interesting, cause when I roll dodge while/after Cutting Dive or swarm use, my character's arm is still extended during the roll and after, even on blocks at random times. Not to include that the delay is long enough to not even be bothered by your opponent to roll dodge, they can simply LoS it before it lands.

    Yep definitely ive made posts about this before, the hidden cast time on the wardens "instant cast" skills.
    Tree ulti is inerturuptable even though its insta cast, so everyone just runs resto ult instead,
    betty, bear ulti summon and ulti cast. playing a magwarden feels very boggy, like swimming around in mud.

    It was probably so the enemy could block it because it was undodgeable.
    Right now, with the stupid delay, one dodge roll will cause 2-3 Cliff Racers to miss.

    A lot of the skills have long/ delayed animations to keep their potential in check.

    The buff skills the warden does activate on time even with the animation but that racer skill takes forever. Funny thing is that I don't know if its a movement speed buff, but ive seen some wardens on PvP make them rain faster.

    Warden > Points for cutting Dive cast. Continues to point at target. Points at target super hard till dive is finished. While necro already threw three skulls during a single dive cast.

    Personally, having LA weaved both skills, I feel that skulls is more awkward. Admittedly this may be perception, since its a while since I played a Warden regularly with Cutting Dive, while I have been playing a couple of Necro characters quite often recently and finding Skull weaving very annoying.

    If I were a magic user and I had to look like warden does casting these spells I would've changed my profession in life bc they look ridiculous in some cases.
    Most of the animations look like some weird belly dancing technique or 70's dance moves,lol. Don't feel powerful or cool casting a lot of these spells tbh

    I have to animation-cancel as warden tank. Wich is downright stupid. Because of it I have made a build that uses the bare minimum of 3 skill from the warden skill-line, because of this issue.

    Well the two hander and inferno/ice heavy attacks are ridiculous too. Oh and the clench is a long one. But these still don't compare to wardens and necro animations. So sad!

    Yes. Way, way too long. It's annoying and a real turn off. Reasons why both my stam and mag warden still at level 16 and has been forever. Until the day I delete them, which will be very soon.

    Yes! Almost all could be reduced, Bear is one of the worse.

    I understand they wanted some cool animations but to be honest , with this game being fast paced ( which is why most ppl love it so much) overly long animations become a handicap ppl will not care for.
    I love the warden but it's the time spent trying to get these animations over with before I get two pieced by 7 adds us what keeps me from ignoring the other ( lower DPS and no real DPS group utility) issues that are plaguing this class.
    The necro isn't as bad but tbh those ricocheting skulls are very clunky and the alternative is ele weapon..................let's talk about that one.
    Ele weapon in my opinion would've been dope if you casted it and the next 5 light attacks did extra damage. Executing 5 successful lights attacks granted the extra burst damage passive. Just my opinion. Instead its a clunky skill that has a good chance to miss........works well on a target dummy........just make sure you tap target everything before use.....right?!?!

    I thought some of the animations seemed long, but I tried an Add On that supposedly showed the global cooldown, and Netch and Lotus both finished just at the GCD finished.
    I've taken off the Addon now to check again but seems like some animations maybe just feel longer than others.

    You know it might be that it's such an exadriated movements that animation cancelling becomes either harder , longer or more defined. Makes it feel clunky. I love the warden. Actually I think I have one of all magic builds and tbh I've loved ( for the most part) them all.
    With ESO being a fast paced and fast response game, not being able to animation cancel with fluidity makes for faster dead animation. I don't like dead animation. Speed = life on ESO.
