Prologue Quest holy load screens

Anyone else getting never ending load screen when selecting Sia option to fast travel to the different locations. Each time I ended up having to close out the game and log back in then it works fine. Pretty annoying though anyone else having the same issue?

✭✭✭A little longer than average, maybe. Never ending, well, to be honest I find that that tends to be rather subjective when people bandy that term about. Often times, during the course of the conversation, some indications appear that say the person in question waited all of fifteen seconds before deciding the game was frozen.
Then again, I've been told I have an abnormal level of patience.

But...rode up to dragon..crashed.
Reloaded -did not reload -just put me back on same screen.
Finally disconnected -fight was over.
Waited for new dragon.
Started fighting.
Crashed.
Reloaded -again -did not reload.
Finally disconnected -got back to dead but lootable dragon -got tokens.
Something is wrong... this an almost exact replica of crashes we get going up to fights/mid keep fights in pvp.
!!! The Eu server is so much worse -did 7 times trying to do dragon daily. Whole zone was wiping over and over.Edited by merevie on October 9, 2019 7:03AM0 -

✭Not a problem with Sai's fast travel as such but loading screens are a lot slower this morning (PC/EU and it's about 10am here now). It takes a 5 minutes to load a character in or out of Elsweyr and there aren't a lot of people at this time of day.
While 5 minuets isn't infinite it sure feels long, usually it's about 2-3 minutes max.0 -
Haenk✭✭✭✭Quest / client went completely nuts - could run around, interact with only a couple of things, most keys didn't work, questmarker were wrong or missing, couldn't even use "ESC" - had to hard kill the game. Such a thing never happened before.
A reload fixed things...0 -

I don't think that the loading screens where any longer than the usual, and that's for the best, as I inadvertently clicked on the cart in the final area when trying to check an urn and had to tour all of the previous locations with the blasted white horse before figuring out that there was another one besides him to get back on track: all in all I toured through six loading screens in less than three minutesPC EU

AndyMac✭✭✭✭✭The loading screens weren't too bad, but I got ported to a pledge run just before making it to the dragon lair - just after the kwama fight.
After the pledge run, I was dumped back in East March in front of the doorway to the delve where you use the bone powder to create a path.
I went in but there seemed to be no way to progress that I could see - the path was gone and I couldn't get anymore dust - so I abandoned the quest hoping to restart.
There doesn't seem to be any way to do that lol. Ran out of time with maintenance happening.
I think I'll have to do the prologue on an alt

✭Did it last night during NA prime time with no problems.
Of course I don't see 98% of the problems complained about since I got a new system. Some may think I'm a heathen since I do not have a 4k screen but I prefer better performance.

Yeah so last fast travel option I did was to go find the horn. Waited in loading screen for 10 minutes with the spinning icon before I said screw it and forced closed the game. This time when i tried to log back in it got stuck loading after I selected my character saying "Loading character" for over 10 minutes. I gave up for the night and hopefully will be better tomorrow.0 -

Sorry PC NA, I mean fast traveling normal had no issues. But if I selected the fast travel option from Sia and it would get stuck in loading screen, longest I waited was 15 minutes before I forced exited the game and reloaded. It didn't look frozen since the loading icon was spinning the entire time just never got out of the screen.
Even in PVP it has never last this long for me, seems like it's strictly related to the quest fast travel option, at least from my point of view.0
