Whenever they introduce a new set, I can just see the OCD people tearing their hair out having to move everything. Again. You know, to put it in alphabetical order.

Master crafting station can be good to resolve this issue.
It can be like merging multiple attunable crafting stations into one and have one station with multiple sets. An available set list will pop up at the top.
Player still has to buy attunable crafting station for every set so nothing changes cost vise.

I am not unreasonable though. You can have 50% of your invested resources back.
...and yes, it is unsightly. You don´t have to do it though. IMO mundus stones often look pretty daft, too.
Hmm.. I don't think your opinion will be popular here... Just going to the Imperial City for a writ or some other place, locked behind a chain quest or DLC, is not fun. These stations were introduced with crafters in mind. If you need to craft a set for you just once or twice in months, or a year, yes, it isn't such a big issue to travel, but if you are doing writs on multiple characters, it is.

OP is right and I also have proposed same idea several times. Every time I've seen the idea posted it is recieved well by the community and silence from ZOS.
We just want to condense the stations in a house. Don't need to scrap the current system just add to it. Make the Master Stations have a storage of "X" amount for the stations of the same type stored in it. Stored stations are what can be crafted on that piece via a drop down menu.
It would be good to have a few different looks to the master stations. i.e. blacksmith master station, could have an Anvil, Forge, Table with Forging Tools, Dousing Tub. That would allow us to create a nice looking crafting area, de-clutter our houses.
Doing it this way those that want it can get them. Those that don't have to adopt it. Realistically ZOS needs an incentive to do this which means it would probably be crown store items. Think about it, ZOS has no reason to do it otherwise since the system works. Being Crown store they could even stretch it into a few different styles over time.
I would urge ZOS to keep the pricing reasonable and you would see more sales. Heck use the line as a control group to see how reasonably priced crown store item do.

You have no idea... thankfully you can now group a set so it’s not an utterly insane task... but there have been times when overlap issues have meant that every single station has had to be moved “just a bit” to ensure you’re using the station your character is actually standing by rather than the one to the side... ouch!
Full props, respect and thanks to all those players dedicated enough to do this and open up their spaces to their guildies.
It also explains the popularity of open space homes like Coldharbour and Elsweyr Meadow. Basically easy spaces for tables.
I will be interested to see how many new guilds will now be able to do this as members pool their Narfi loot stations...

It would be nice if ZOS cleaned up the crafting station situation, it is not exactly scalable, nor is it sightly.
I was thinking it would be good if there was a quest, or an unlock that grants a player a 'Master Crafting Station (one for each type of craft)'.
This station actually does nothing special on its own, it only crafts basic items, however is can 'research' attunables. Research time is instant.
So if you have a Guild house that has 50 Blacksmith attunables all with a different set, you can go to your Master Blacksmith Station with them in your inventory and add them all to your Account Bound, Collectible, Master Blacksmith Station.
This way, the player still needs to attune all the blacksmith stations they want to add, costs no more, or no less writ vouchers, but the end result is a much cleaner house.

The "bound" status of "Narfi-stations" does prevent them from being tranferred from one player to another, but it doesn't prevent anyone from placing the station in whatever home in which they have decorating rights - even if it's not theirs. So equipping a "guild home" together with them sounds doable.
Just guessing here, 'cause I haven't tested it. Has anyone tried ? I mean, putting a bound attuned crafting station in someone else's house ?
*Imagines the nighmare UI*
Nope. No thanks.
ZoS can't even bother to put the bloody style stones in alphabetical order
for the folks who haven't been in since launch and know the order of the
expansions...
How do you suppose the UI for this idea would go xD
Nice idea though!

Nope. Decorators can not add items into a home. If they could then they could take them. The Nafri-stations was meant to be a personal use station in a home and not gathered up for a guild. Dumping that many unbound stations into the game would have caused all sorts of problems.
A house owner that loans their home for guild use can use their set in the count.
