"The dragon event items"

Yo.

How does one know if one is part of the dragon event that is going on right now? I don't want to miss out the the costume and the dragon pet.

According to the news article, all players who own Elsweyr will receive the rewards.

The dragon and the costume have already been unlocked, so if you bought Elsweyr right now (if you don't already have it) you should be able to get them. They'll be released to players sometime when the event ends.

thanks for the info guys.

Really don't wnat to miss the items. I finished the achievement today and I have killed 7 dragons, hope it be enogh and will do the prequest for dragonhold later on.

I believe you have to get the northern elsweyr pathfinder achievement in order to be eligible for the pet, costume and treasure pile.You should be all set.

So wait, I’m confused, do we have to do the pathfinder achievement to get the rewards? Or is just owning Elsweyr enough?

You don't have to do anything. Everyone who owns Elsweyr will get the rewards.

"[...]your fellow players can unlock three unique rewards for ALL Elsweyr players."

"[...] you’ll unlock amazing new rewards for all Elsweyr players[...]"

For Summerfall, you did not have to do the achievement to get the rewards. Do I trust it? Not really. I'd get the achievement just to be safe. But official word seems to suggest it will be like Summerfall.
