[Theorycrafting] MagDK Bomb

Curious whether some expert Magdk players would help theory this concept out. We're familiar with the MagBomb; but what about a DkBomb?
I thought about using the Phoenix (https://eso-sets.com/set/phoenix) for retaliation defense and another AOE direct damage burst with possibly Vicious Death (chain effect damage) or Crafty Alfiq for raw stats to boost base damage. Balorgh would be ideal to further boost the bomb/skill/set damage by +1500 spell damage after using the ferocious leap ult. to gap close.
How would you build a Magdk bomber? In theory, if anything else.

✭✭✭✭✭I think building it similar to a NB bomber would work best. Spinners, Vicious Death, Balorgh. With Leap, proxy det, Deep Breath, and talons. You could also swap Leap with Eye of Flame, may even work a bit better.
The problem is, without an execute, it is going to be difficult to get the initial kills you need to proc VD and cause a successful bomb. And since Deep Breath is a skill that hits twice with a delay, it isn't spammable like sap essence is.1 -

✭✭✭I think the way to do it would be to play to DK’s strengths. Rather than going for a big burst from stealth, go for a ‘I’m coming and there’s not a thing you can do about it’ perspective.
I’d try to setup a big burst using onslaught, balorg and the shadow mundus. Maybe something with auto crit like clever alchemist. You wouldn’t be surprise bombing but rather looking for a big cluster of people to kill.
Otherwise maybe stick to fire damage and go vampire hunting. Find a squishy vampire and let vicious death do the rest.Looking for any guildies I used to play with:

Thereabouts. You see, characters continue to accumulate ultimate beyond the slotted ultimate cost. This is how the set bestows such a huge weapon/spell damage bonus when you rocket off the ultimate.Edited by Sahidom on October 4, 2019 9:29PM0 -

I've seen vids of this build working a while back when Magelight empowered skills instead of light attacks. Think I've seen it work once semi-recently. I know it works in a group setting but...0
