Flawless sacrament is the stupidest most annoying achievement I've found

Yep, Bloodymane cave on EP characters was the thing back then ...

I got that achievement only doing sacraments during events apart from a few I did when the DLC released. I did gear up though to improve detection radius and sneaking on my not very stealthy non-vamp non-vamp DK tank.

It is just 5 sacraments at the highest possible reward threat. That isn't much. If you are doing them daily each DB event, you should have it in a few years if you get gear to help you be stealthy and get some pots to help from the shadowy supplier. I'm not sure what the rush is to get it finished in consecutive days.

And use the blade of woe whenever you can. And rapids.

Like with many achievements in many games, it requires some repetition to get the missions down.

Oh, another fun bit of trivia: If you have poison equipped on your current bar, and kill with the Blade of Woe, it counts for either optional condition.

Don't get me wrong i'm sure there's other ridiculous achievements but seriously what the hell is were the devs thinking with this one?

For those who don't know, this achievement has you doing 6 other grindy achievements from a quest you can only do ONCE per day, some of these achievements has you doing perfect runs that can take a few tries because of how easily you can make mistakes, it's not even a matter of having skill and being good at sneaking, because of one of the achievements needs you to kill EVERY single target, which are 21 in total, and guess what, it's not a rotation, the same target can show up in your daily even if you did it two days ago, EVEN if you manage to pull everything off perfectly this achievement can take you 3 weeks of constant sacraments, and if you're not lucky (like me) it can take you more than 40 days, I'm only one target left from the achievement and it hasn't showed up in 2 weeks, you can't even abandon and see if you get a different target, it's RNG based crap, like seriously, where's the fun in this ***? sacrament dailies get stale after a week or two of doing them, why force people to do them for almost a month if they want the memento? They could at least make it so it's rotation where you know who's gonna be the next target, but nope, go kill the same dude you killed yesterday, better luck next time ***!

I can't do much but rant, I just hope they don't make *** achievements like these in the future, feel free to post down below any achievement you've done that you find ridiculous/grindy/annoying

So, fun trivia. Undetected doesn't mean undetected. It means you earned less than 5 "points" of detection. Hilariously, it's actually possible to execute guards from stealth without losing a point.

Stamblade Vampire (or wearing Night's Silence), with Blade of Woe and this one isn't too bad.

Mirkmire Prepper. One Hundred and Fifty!? ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY!? I don't even care that you can do it in 25 days, ONE HUNDRED AND LIZARD FLIPPING FIFTY!?

Shoulda renamed that one to "Jee-Lar's Slave"

To be slave to an Argonian is probably the lowliest position in Tamriel :D

Pothole Cavern? That's been my last one a couple of times. Though Red Ruby Cave was a pain for my sorc. One of the bosses refused to spawn.

OP: I started working on that achievement during the DB/TG festival. I hadn't done Sacraments before. I got used to them and started enjoying them, but the last couple of people took a while. When I finally got it, I looked at the calendar and it was exactly 2 months of daily sacraments. It was a glorious feeling to finish it.

Have done Flawless Sacrament on half a dozen characters. Doubt any of them took as long as Cyrodilic Collections Champion: Complete 150 daily quests for Jee-Lar to help Cyrodilic Collections prepare for their expedition to Murkmire (Title: Murkmire Prepper). Haven't finished that one on a single character.

I like sacraments as they provide excellent opportunities to loot boxes and pickpocket drunkards. :)

Also there is the mini-game in one of the delves that I like to call, 'Kill the Flute Player.' Even if it's just to get that annoying noise out of my head.

So while the achievement the OP mentions is an RNG nightmare, there are other opportunities within sacraments that can help you pass the time away.

So loot away... and don't stress over the RNG list.

I don't like Felonious Recompense. I'd like to get the achievement for the furnishing but damn my best thief and rogue doesn't pay bounties. On a good day she doesn't need to and on a bad day it's always a case of mistaken identity that a counterfeit edict will fix. She has no respect for the law.

Agreed, it took me nearly 2 months of checking the mission every day to be able to kill my final target (danelo or whatever that dudes name is). Not particularly difficult but definitely a grind.

Although this is nowhere close to being the grindiest achievement. Black market mogul, master angler (not as bad now with the pickled fish bowl) are both more grindy. But above all else, monster trophy collectibles are the grind to end all grinds. I’ve legit spent north of 50 hours farming mammoths for a giant mammoth tooth for a single collectible. Haven’t gotten one.

On the other hand, I still remember the giddy excitement the day I accepted my daily Sacrament and realized it was finally my last NPC needed for the achievement.

On the other other hand, I was mostly excited because I was finally done with Sacraments. They are not exactly the best quests in the game.

I'd argue if it was their last quest, they probably got a drink the moment they saw the target's name, and just ran through asap :p

Honestly? Screw achievements. 🤣 If they’re a boring drag to get, then they aren’t worth my time. I play for fun, and boring achievement grind is too much like work. Just finishing the quests and maxing the TG and DB skill lines was grindy enough, and let’s not even discuss Psijic...

But if you like it, more power to you. Different strokes for different folks. 😉

Flawless Sacrament has a memento associated with it. So, if the random social toys appeal, this is one of the few associated with the Dark Brotherhood.

You can abandon. You don't HAVE to do it every day. just check, see if it's your needed target. if not, drop quest, come back same time next day when the daily quests reset. Eventually the target will be your right guy.

Yes it's a pain in the ass.

I waited for over a year to finally get my last guy, so now that box of stupid relics is literally on my quickslots to spam in front of people who don't have it so they think I'm cool.

Hmm, when I did this achievement back when Dark Brotherhood was new, I got all the targets in a rotation. I don't recall it being random at all, just had to grab one every day and do it or you'd end up waiting for next rotation. They should put it back to a rotation.

I love Sacraments though. Scout your targets and escape route, murder anyone getting in your way or annoying (unlike heists!) and the timer doesn't start until you kill the main target.
