Dragon Rise Event Tickets are ELSWEYR...

HI there long time player here. Logged in to get my 2 event tickets. Went in with plenty of bag space. I had 6 existing event tickets. I decided that I would not leave things to chance and I would go straight for the land Boss's. 
Killed 1 With a friend in group. He got the two tickets and the Golden box "Nafaalilargus's Strongbox". I thought it must be a chance thing so we killed a few more land boss's....... nothing.
I went into Orcrest to have more of a turn over on Boss's as the overland boss's in Norther Elsweyr are all on cooldown....
I defeated the flesh Atronach and I got the "Nafaalilargus's Strongbox" but no tickets....
Is this a normal process? I thought that all Boss's were guaranteed drops for tickets???

- I only had 6 tickets before this event.
- I understand you only get 2 each day.
- I have killed 4 land boss's = 0 tickets.
- killed 4 boss's in Orcrest, On the 3rd boss only got the Nafaalilargus's Strongbox box = 0 tickets.
So I really have no idea when/ else WHERE I will get these elusive tickets....

Of course. My friend and I have been playing since Beta. Not our first event rodeo. But I understand the need for question.
I was thinking maybe tickets could be an automatic thing once target required is killed the tickets come in like soul gems from Soul Trap. Anyway.
Still fighting land bosses up here and still nothing.....
Was Nafaalilargus's Strongbox meant to drop with the tickets...?
Its just strange that I got the box after like 6 boss's without any tickets...1 -

✭✭I killed the daily delve boss in Northern Elsweyr and received two tickets and a box. Doing the dragon, world boss dailies and killing stuff I'm getting box drops somewhere between 30% - 50% of the time.4 -
carlos424✭✭✭✭✭If I had to guess, you killed something and left the tickets on the body. It’s easy to miss, especially if you don’t auto loot everything. And apparently, any monsters have a chance to drop event tickets, so maybe was on something you killed before the world boss, maybe one of the boss adds.Edited by carlos424 on October 3, 2019 3:32PM5

Went in nSS (went with 30 free bag slots and 3 existing event tickets), killed all 3 dragons, including final boss, ... eh... mindfully lotted. And got 0 tickets.
Killed 1 Eslweyr world boss and 3 Elsweyr dragons. Still 0 tickets2 -

✭✭✭✭✭This will probably sound dumb also, but I have noticed there is no notice in lootdrop (addon) that you obtained any tickets. The only way I know for sure that I did, since I have auto loot turned on and they don't hang around in your inventory, is to check my amounts before and after on the currency page.0 -

If OP is sure they had 6 tickets before today and still only have 6, I would say this is a distinct possibility. If tickets are going to drop, even at a low chance, from overland trash, they should be automatically added to the player's currency tab. It's far too easy to overlook a corpse and leave it unlooted. Unless, of course, the tickets continue to drop until they are actually looted by the player. But that doesn't seem to be the case (again, assuming OP did in fact already have 6 tickets before the event started and didn't get any so far today).3 -

✭✭✭✭✭I just got my 2 tickets plus golden reward box by killing one of the smaller bosses in the Rimmen Necropolis. I killed several of the smaller bosses with no drops (other than usual ones) until I eventually got one that dropped the 2 tickets at once.
As for the OP:
Were you grouped with your friend when he got his 2 tickets? I'm wondering if when he got his 2 tickets the game somehow thought that you were receiving them too, even though you didn't get any. In any case, don't give up, hopefully if you keep on trying you'll eventually get your tickets for today!I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

But have to say that it is a bad idea to tie tickets to loot. Tickets should add automatically, cos it's too easy to miss loot for different reasons. Or at least need to leave the possibility to get tickets from first loot you actually get, instead of first loot somewhere, where you missed it and never have a chanse to get it from next loot. I got in such situation at one of the past events - killed a boss in dungeon, group was immediatly disbanded, and i was too slow and didnt loot the boss. No matter how much I killed and looted bosses after, my tickets was missed in that first unlooted boss body...5 -

During the Dragon Rise event, all regular monsters in the Northern Elsweyr zone have a rare chance to drop Event Tickets when defeated. However, should you slay a boss monster in the same zone, an Event Ticket drop is guaranteed! Because it’s located in Northern Elsweyr, this includes the final boss in the Moongrave Fane dungeon! Don’t forget to loot everything you defeat. You can earn two Event Tickets this way each day of the event.
Chances are regular monsters dropped your tickets and you didn't loot them3 -

Do you own the Elsweyr Chapter? Maybe they are using that to check whether to give out a box?
