As im getting into PVP it has become clear to me that i dont have the basic understanding of CCs in the game.

1. Disabling effects
2. Immobilising effects.
3. Snares.

Can all types of CCs be put in these three categories? What about "hard ccs" and "stuns"- do they fit in the above categories?

Do all these have counters? Can i break all of them by having enough stamina to break the stuns and roll dogde away? Would love some basic input on this subject as its obviously cructial in PVP.

Stuns are hard CCs are they completely disable you from activateling skills or moving and you have to Break Free which grants you CC immunity for a few seconds.

Snare and Immobilisations are Soft CCs as they can be purged or you can get immunity via shuffle, Forward momentum and the Psijic skill.

Thanks man. Do you perhaps have a link to a site that has all the CCs in the game listed? I can do a search myself of course.

There are three types, like you know. One is hard CC, that totally prevents any action. that's for stuns, knock backs and knock downs. After effects is done, there's a window of immunity to it.

The next is a soft CC, that prevents movement only, but still can rotate camera to aim and cast skills. That's your immobilize. Also has immunity window after effect.

The final one is snares, or slows, that stack, but never quite disable you. I'm not sure how immunity works here.

The key is that being immune to one CC doesn't get you imune the other, so you can be immobilized and stunned in sequence.

If I have you knock back and frozen (I always do this), it cost you twice to break free, as I understand.

Here is a link for you: [url="https://alcasthq.com/eso-status-effects/

Although I did not know that stun and immobilize had different 'tags', if you are stunned and frozen, and you break one, you will break the other too and be immune for them for the next 5 seconds? At least that is my guess.

as i understand, yes, but it should cost the total value of both together. unsure here, just my understanding of it.
