✭Well it's mostly trash items... I put some poisons here and there, but they are more annoyance than convenience.
I'd prefer some self-destruct reward. Like, "Hey, you got this!". Poof, gone.2 -

✭✭✭✭Most of the stuff isn’t aimed at me and my max level toons. Much of it is, however, very useful to new players or toons.
XP scrolls and tristat potions are great. The tristat, now strangely missing, was as good as anything you could craft. A proper number of pony training vouchers would really help.
Poisons and ‘special’ potions and just there to ensure you can spell DESTROY. Unlike the tristats, they are definitely not as good as ones you can craft.
Ponies, cossies, and gamble crates are very take it or leave it. Although a mount for a new player is super useful, even if it runs like a camel.
The tel var, AP and cash are fine, but the cash usually won’t even cover the cost of pony training for the month, and the AP is fundamentally valueless in terms of advancement or purchasing power.
I would like to see more imagination in the rewards and some elements that were more relevant to more experienced players/characters. I though it was really interesting that they gave away Murkmire last year (and IC recently although not as a daily reward) and wonder if they will continue to do this in future.

✭✭Is it just me or have daily rewards gotten significantly less relevant? I remember times where we used to get 4 crates, pets, costumes, even DLC (murkmire). Now we get basically nothing of value save for the occasional 100k gold (which isn't that much for 20+ days of logging in daily).
100k can be had in one to two days of 8 lvl 50 toons doing lowest tier daily writs. Even that is nothing. I looked the purple tripots. Until they buffed them and now they don't give us any. I called it as soon as it hit pts, I knew they weren't going to give us anynore of that. Sad, really. I'm hoping they'll give us the next dlc like they did murkmire. It'll save me a solid 400k there...1 -

This month's rewards are garbage because they once gave away something I liked and valued. If next month included a free copy of every DLC and chapter, people would complain the following month when ZOS had no more DLC and chapters to give away.
You are wrong, rewards are visibly getting worse. There's a new crate out, back when daily rewards first started we would have gotten 4 or 5 of those at the end of the month. ✭I'm still pretty happy to see the tri-restoration potions, but I could really do without the five thousand poisons (and in so many varieties, so they don't even stack). Although I would love to see the crates come back, I'm ok with one decent reward a month, and a little gold here and there, as I'm probably going to log on most days anyway.
But I was pretty dismayed to see the face and body tattoos that are going to be in next month's rewards, because, seriously, we don't have enough tattoos already?0 -

One person's trash is another person's gold and vice versa. I remember the crown crates I've gotten free from daily login rewards and in my opinion, they were pretty much all trash. I could describe what I liked for each month or what I thought was garbage but I'd only end up belaboring the point I started with, trash vs. value is in the eye of the beholder.

Yeah they've dwindled over the months/years. But at least we did get a crate this month, and I believe it was last month or the month before that we got 100k.

We have the right to complain about the decline of quality in something we are used to. Not to mention that we work for those rewards and deserve them I feel. Logging in every day for a month is not an easy feat for a lot of people.
It's not that hard to log while, say, getting dressed for work. Out of bed, turn on PC, make coffee, open game, brush teeth, type password, put pants on, select a character, put shirt on, get your reward, close the game, done. Put on your shoes and go to work.
You lose literally no time while doing this. Instead of waiting and wasting time, you're doing other things while game loads and logs in. How is that "not an easy fit"?
If you want your rewards, logging in everyday will literally cost you seconds, if you know do it right. I've been away from game a couple months and even then I logged everyday, on both of servers. One before going to college, the other before going to bed, doing exactly the routine I described. Never even sat in my chair.
Also, false equivalency with the gear bit... You actually work for that gear drop on trials, rewards you don't. It's literally free stuff. It's after with you about complaining against decline of: 1) there was any work involved, and 2) the daily rewards were that much of a game changer to begin with. Neither are true... I can make 100k in one hour with some effort, or in a day with very little effort. In 3 days with no effort at all. It's an irrelevant reward system put in place to help new players, which works perfectly, and that's it.
There's no challenge, no work involved, no play time attached, nothing. It's not a "feat". The fact that we're even debating this is absurd in itself. O.o4 -

I've actually been doing this a lot lately, with all the radical changes to skills and combat. No desire to relearn rotations and collect and gold out new gear when they're just gonna scramble it up 3 months later.
