A friend and I were curious about exact time frames between ESO and the different games. Here is what I mathed out:

ESO takes place in the year 2E 582

The Second Era (2E) lasts 897 years total

Morrowind takes place in the year 3E 427

Oblivion takes place in the year 3E 433

The Third Era lasts 433 years, so Oblivion is the last year of the Third Era.

Time transpires between the events of Oblivion and Skyrim.
Skyrim takes place in 4E 201, so about 401 years.

With those timeframes, it's:
742 years between ESO and Morrowind.
748 years between ESO and Oblivion.
949 years between ESO and Skyrim.

Now you can show your dominant Elder Scrolls knowledge by using math that's been pre-mathed for you!

If Oblivion is the last year of the Third Era, then the next year should be 4E 1, right? So the time between between Oblivion and Skyrim should be 201 years, not 401. I think.

Yes, the first expansion to Oblivion, Knights of the Nine, took place in 4E 1.
