Player crafted Cloth Jerkins Please

Not all cloth wearers want nor like wearing robes. Please allow for player crafted jerkins instead of waiting till you luck out and find one in the wild (or buy a generic one from NPC vendor) or be forced to wear Medium or Heavy chest piece to keep out of wearing a dress.

An alternative could be being able to convert a robe into a jerkin (and vice versa) like we can convert armor to look like Imperial. This would have the added bonus of not messing with the crafting slots and trait research interface.
I know that you can get around the dress with costumes, I'm doing that, but I haven't come across that many costumes (so far) and they can get a bit old.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Yes, please. My DK Dunmer looks so adorable wearing cloth jerkins!Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.0 -

Look any part of an MMORPG is making your toon unique to the world. Its a given that tunics, tabards, overcoats, jerkins and some type of dying system (even if its earthy tones) should be available to the player to make themselves unique in the world. I would really like to see a clothing system added .. On that note the horse saddle shouldn't be so bare either.. saddle bags, pouches , something for visual1 -
I would absolutely love to see multiple styles, but since jerkins are already in the game, it would be a fantastic first step!0

If you level your horse enough in one of its attributes it will gain an accessory. Carrying capacity adds saddle bags. Speed adds some straps that I don't know what to call, and I think stamina might add armor. Not sure.
