Here's what a noob sorc can do in BG

✭✭This is what people don't understand about the sorc execute, it procs again if you get under 20 percent.
No, I am not spamming it. I hit you once with it, then I burst you down to 20 percent so it explodes on you once again and you die. You see your death recap and see two executes and you start a forum thread or start a hate whisper "fury spammer! :'("
No dude, I literally used that once. Anyone who spams that doesn't know how it works. It's a wastage of resources.
Thus spamming shields and Mage's wrath work fine for me. I've had so many kills that my k/d ratio is always above 4-5 (depends if against premade group or not).
Quick tip from a sorc noob, don't use mage's wrath when player is above 10k. once he reachs this health threshold, use it on him and you own the kill 95% of the time
Better still is use it once, use your other abilities to bring them to 20 percent in four seconds, 95 percent of the time you won't even need to cast wrath again.
LA, Curse - LA, blockade - barswap - LA, wrath - LA, Pulse - LA frag (curse procs, wrath procs) enemy dead.
Now of course, this doesn't work against higher mmr players many times but it's still a killer. And much better than the following rotations:

Steel Tornado, Steel Tornado, Steel Tornado, Steel Tornado
or

✭✭✭✭✭My guess is OP is not really a noob but just new to playing a sorc. Experienced PvP players tend to understand how other classes play so it is a little overly dramatic to call oneself a noob just because you are new to playing the class.
I an not suggesting "kill stealing" is not an issue. Just that is trying to make things look a little more than they are via the little attempt at drama.2 -

✭✭I have a question, I had a deathmatch earlier, I had 18 kills, 8 assists and some deaths.
Two of my teammates had more than 14 assists but far less kills. So I "stole" kills.
But I pumped out 750k damage and the other two didn't get that number combined. Yet more assists.

I'm not a noob to the game as i have cp +1000. However i've played always as a templar. My sorc was leveled in like 1h thanks to the master writs so i'm really a noob sorc and that's what i've always said.
I learned more however thanks to my guild mates who shared with me some good gear combos and told what skills are most suited to pvp.
But even if i slot 2 more skills in my bar i always play with 2x shield and mage's wrath. that combo skills is awesome and do the job of killing other players.0 -

It's about making the claim a class is OP because of the above.
No one has an issue with him winning etc; we have an issue with that being the evidence soley for the claim of "OP"0 -

I guess i survived much longer than they were expecting spamming my shields
I got wispering from them telling me i was a cheater lmfao.

Delparis, look closer at your picture. You have plenty kills - but thats are stolen kills.
Your group mates had 18 and 19 assisted kills which speaks clearly. Using one skill isnt way to win in most fights. Try to do 1v1 with someone skilled.
Why? What does that prove? Most of those “skilled” 1 on 1 players are specifically specked just to duel. Conversely a lot of them would be fodder in Cyrodiil proper.
Let the guy play. At the end of the day it’s about getting a win and AP. That’s the skill right there.

What is the case, is that their floor is much, much higher than every other class in BG, so it doesn't require much skill to have a decent impact in BGs with them, which is different than every other class. So yeah, it is annoying that pretty much every single magsorc and petsorc you encounter in a BG is going to be at least semi-effective without having to do much, but don't let that take away from the fact that the top-tier ones in BGs are still just as skilled and talented as any other top-tier players.0 -

True, but a noob with an OP class will performe better than a confirmed one with a nerfed class.
I'm noob playing sorc and still perform better than with my templar. I Just can't die as a sorc in BG as there is no conterplay to shields (except Oblivion dmg or Sload).

2) you may have heavily put grated your opponents.
3) your opponents were terrible at the game.

Doesn’t prove anything realistically, the problem is people like the OP believe every class should have identical strengths and weaknesses.
He has based his whole argument so far on 1v1 capability. He proclaims Templar is underpowered, yet in several areas is one of the strongest choices in the game currently.
Sorc isn’t a overpowered class it has a strong 1v1 capability while losing strength in group pvp environments.
Being a strong 1v1 class doesn’t make it overpowered. It has a trade off, just because you refuse to play a class to its strengths does not mean it’s less powerful, it’s just the players refusal to adapt.

I'm pretty sure the OP is trolling, but some people actually see this and believe that it's legit. I mean, magsorc is a strong class, but it's not like you can just spam 2 buttons and kill a competent opponent. I remember seeing one of those "sorc op" videos where a max cp guy was fighting cp200 people with "recruit" ranks lol.
I did a random bg yesterday and this is what I got (it wasnt a sorc btw and I'm pretty bad at pvp, but it hardly matters in this situation).
Of course, it's very unlikely that I would get something like this on my main. The only thing it proves is that mmr system in this game sucks big time. It couldnt even find a 4th player for the red team.
