So, the costume looks amazing ( I wish more endgame actual gear looked like that). But, for those of uscsho aren’t ESO plus it costs as much as some DLCs. That’s expensive.

those of us who bought it when it first came out - paid the full price, becasue at the time, there was NO ESo plus discount yet. AND back then it was bugged. not to mention, 2000 vs 1600 is not that much of a discount and BOTH are still higher then every dungeon DLC.
    dirty worthless casual.

You don't have to buy things that are outside of your budget.

For example, I'm not buying a Ferrari this week because its outside of my budget. I sure like them a lot, though. :(

the reason for these prices is

    a) price elasticity of demand - e.g. how much people are willing to pay

and b) how many people buy it

the reason costumes and cosmetics are more expensive than dlc is simple

a lot more people want to buy dlc to play it but this includes a lot of people that dont want to spend a lot of money in the first place on the game...

with cosmetics usually only a small number of people care about them, but these are usually the players with deeper pockets...
