Crown Store bugged. I bet this will be fixed RIGHT AWAY.

Come on Zenimax, show your disrespect to us and fix the Crown Store. I can't buy anything in it. I guess everything I look at says "Offline" that won't be fixed, but I a sure the "blank" in the Crown Store will be fixed RIGHT AWAY.

How pathetic Zenimax you are when it comes to priorities to fix things.

I don't like to delete or change my posts, so will leave as is, but trying to be helpful now. Now I have calmed down and trying to fix the situation.

Platform Xbox One X.

Problem seems no descriptions or lettering anywhere. In game when we "see" an enemy or person it says their name and level, but all I get is "offline".

Hope this helps the team to fix the game.

    Why would you have my stuff? I can praise Zenimax as I have done lots of times, I can also show the hypocrisy when how "fast" they can fix bugs, but don't fix the game.

    Not going anywhere. Still love Zenimax. Just like a child, sometimes you have to be firm with them. After all, I was FIRM but respectful. Fixing stuff in the Crown Store right away while game fixes taking months/years/never is pathetic.

    Everything is empty, can still buy but no descriptions. Curious, I should go back and see if I can buy stuff that has no description or price. :smiley:

    Ok, I tried to buy something it wouldn't let me, said I didn't have enough crowns, and funny enough exited me out of the game to the Xbox Store to buy crowns lol.

    I bought a pet with Jewels as a test and it worked. (wanted to save my jewels, but that is OK, the Nightmare Pup is nice so it was a nice test to do.)

    So the only bug I see is that everything that suppose to have lettering is blacked out. That would explain why the loading screen had a black cloud, that is where the lettering is suppose to be.

    Even went to my Momentous, and everything was black except for a pic of the pets.

    I don't know who to tag for this and don't know how if I did know. :) Can someone please tag the proper people for this. It's on Xbox One, not sure if it's everyone else or just me. I exited and restarted and still happening.

    Before you realized that there was a “bug” preventing you from completing a purchase in the crown store, did you check to see if you had sufficient crowns to complete the purchase?

    Fixing something like a web shop in game us a lot easier then something like bugged skills. Reason behind that is simple the shop does not interact with the actual game files in the way skills,armor,items do. It's more of a catalog that you buy items from, the we shop url that its conected to then sends the bought item. Nothing more nothing less where in game items,skills and such have a lot more mathematical equations and processes that can be bugged, be it a counteraction or simple typo.

    Why does the Crown Store get fixed quickly?

    Because it’s a load more simple to fix an online shop than it is to fix elements in a game.

    Because there are many, many, many online shops. The technology is relatively simple, very well known and widely used. There are many, many, many programmers skilled and experienced enough to update or reprogrammed it. Because in the big scheme of things, the problems are often simple, have few dependencies and are easily fixed.

    And, yes, it’s a clear money stream and there is probably a special team tasked with running it.

    And, like mount reskin artists, while they are clearly talented, THEY CAN’T DO ANYTHING TO FIX THE GAME.

    It’s not like fixing the Crown Store is taking any resources away from game development.

    At first this was just a post to let off steam, since it seems the crown store issues get fixed over other issues. Then I calmed down a few minutes later realized I should turn this into a positive instead of a negative. Good to let off steam. :)

    Yes I did. Even did a test to buy stuff. One let me purchase, the other said not enough funds. :)

    And yeah, I'm as cynical as everyone else. When I realised there was an issue with the crown store, I thought "Well, it won't be long until THIS gets fixed. It'll be all hands on deck making sure that we gamers aren't deprived of the chance to pour their spare change into the game."

    Honestly, I don't even mind. I'm sure I'm not the only person that would rather spend a few quid on a cute pet in ESO than a new pair of socks or whatever in RL. So long as the crown store items remain cosmetic, you won't hear me complaining.

    How am I a hypocrite? Being wrong I can understand, but a hypocrite? I could very well be a hypocrite, aren't we all? I don't understand why though. Using the word pathetic? What is wrong with pathetic? It is, in my opinion. That is not being rude, but it is a harsh word. Lots of people use worse. So what word should I be using then? This word does show how I felt at the moment, on how I feel Zenimax's upper management does their work.

    So please explain why I am a hypocrite, and what other word I should be using?
