There was a long article posted about class identity today, and I know a lot of people are having issues with it, including myself. So, it had me curious: what is your everyone's vision for their favorite class? And what issues do you have with it right now? (Or multiple classes if you want.)
For me personally, I really like magicka sorcerer. Someone on the other thread mentioned Hurricane for stamina sorcerer; alongside it is Storm for magicka sorcerer. Tearing through a battle with that skill and Streak are really my favorite things. The class's movement is its strength.
My main issues were:
In PvP: glitchy Streak and having to pull out an ice staff or Time Stop to have an effective slow. I guess they're supposedly fixing the streak bug, which is nice, but I think Streak is going to be way behind BoL next patch. I don't really like having to run away from battle but my CC is just not quite configured for it.
In PvE: Pets. I hate running pets, and I really really hate that they have been the top dog in sorc DPS for a long time. Of course that doesn't mean I wanted them nerfed to the ground, just brought in to closer balance or had a bigger trade-off.

The article seemed fine to me. "Class identity" has always been an ambiguous phrase to me and I thought they described it about as well as anyone could... though the term "power fantasy" kind of made me laugh for some reason.
Their goals are clearly articulated: they want each class to be able to perform all three combat roles in their own unique way. That pretty much sums up the lengthy article IMHO.
So I guess my Templar's "class identity" is intact - because he can DPS, Tank, and heal - all by using the power of light and the sun. ^^

I mean issues with class identity, not necessarily the article, sorry ^^;
