ESC bolt no teleport. Cloak no invisibility.

Since wings does not reflect back projectiles and it became a buff "you flap wings, projectiles hurt you less", make Bolt ESC give maj expedition but delete the teleport "since you move as fast as the lightning"

And make Shadow Cloak reduce melee dmg by 50% for 4s since "shadows protect you"

Why did you treat DKs like that @ZOS_BrianWheeler ?

Gives us back our Wings.
Give masorc back their crystal frags stun, idc Ill reflect it if they are not smart.
Buff Concealed Weapon for magNBs. Let them use it to hurt my Wings defence, Ill dance with them up close and personal.

And take away that stupid major mending that has caused the class to become boring, plagurd with nerfs, in favour of the SnB/2h 7th Fury BS meta. Take back that Cautirize that heals and give us back the old Flames of Oblivion with stamina dmg. These healings belong to stamplar. You know, the divine warrior?

Give us our Wings back. I dont want your PoisonKnight that throws poop at enemies. ffs

You can get old Wings back as soon as a potions, a poison, 4 dedicated skills, AOEs and random gusts of air bypass those wings or break them forcing you to either respend the magicka or just not cast those easily countered Wings.

I was thinking the same when I read the OP. Because you do not like wings and clearly do not slot a gap closer you want other classes nerfed so your build can handle them with less challenge. Slot a gap closer and go after that sorc.

How can you actually support the deletion of an ability before a proper nerf pts cycle? With test and changes?

The rest of your arguements are nonsense and off the topic. DK has a gap closer. Sorc was reseting fights with Bolt. What did Zos do? Add cost fatigue.

Magsorc main, and reflect was a unique class ability. It’s funny that the devs want to make classes have a unique feel but strip classes of unique abilities. Ahem, 3rd bar or stun on frag. Let magblades have a fast moving relentless force.

At the same time, OP is right, changing skills so much such as Wings, Crystal Frag etc.. because zos wants to allow counter play, however these changes more or less remove the need of counter play.
Gameplay becomes boring. Yes I mained a DK for some time and made countless sorcs eat this own OL LAs and frags, but then there were many more who knew how to play against it. It was a L2P issue .
Same for Frags, if you see one coming, use your brain to roll dodge or block.

However those constant whining from those who dont want to step up there game and just cry Nerfs to skills because it's too hard for them to counter. IMO that is what has lead to the current CRAP state of the original classes compared to what they have been.
I would not give a second thought if ZOS comes and says, we are giving old Wings back alongwith Frag stun. Or some other old skills...its be worth it to have some interesting game play.

Imo if the reflect stays out of the game wings should at least get 50% damage reduction of ALL sources of damage for the full duration.

Basically if you compare it to cloak, when you learn how to use it and synergise it successfully with shadow image, you might as well never die in fights.

How's that fair? Not to mention that my NB gets 40-45k vigor tooltips when fully buffed. No joke. When I cloak its like ZING full health again. And I could probably push it higher too for the cost of sustain.

Just give DKs something.

We were fine with the old dk wings, frags with stun, OL 3rd bar, etc but being sorcerer kill a GOOD dk before was almost impossible if they had always the wings up but definitely was more fun before, balance does not mean FUN

I don’t run a DK on PvP but would love to see them have the wings back. It was funny to see everybody doing the same thing over and over instead of figuring out not to keep spamming projectiles at them

Simple solution would be to let Wings reflect 2 projectiles and after that the reduced damage from projectiles could kick in. That way DKs get some of their reflect power back but it won’t completely shut down Magblade offence.

Oh, look, another "nerf tanks for the sake of PvP" thread, this time posing as a buff thread. Once your suggestions are implemented, and those of the guy demanding mist form gets major protection instead of the unique 75% dmg reduction, don't complain if vCR can only be tanked by sorcs and wardens. That guy wants to make it impossible to deal with RNG of cone and heavy attack coming simultaneously, and you want to make it impossible to heal up in execute. And that is coming right after a nerf to breath. May as well delete DKs from the game at that point.

EDIT: oh, wait, you want to nerf bolt escape too, so not "sorcs and wardens", but only wardens will be able to tank vCR reliably.

reason why they changed wings is it was totally overpowered. how would you like to have most of your skills reflected back ?

not only damage , but enchants, poisons, stun etc

playing as ranged against DK was insane.

If you would of made a constructive post about Dks and where they are at now on the PTS, showing where they need some buffs and attention, then you would have the community helping you if you keep an open mind. But you went for the petty revenge nerfs against other classes which just shows you as a toxic player.

So it would be better for you to change your post and approach, for better or worse, and ask for buffs and how to get the Dk back in a better spot with the community at large. That way people would want to help and come up with decent feedback, helping Dks, including me.

Minno did this with Templars, just saying.

We are still in the early PTS stages. Focus on testing and asking for changes to buff Dks without getting into the chaos of asking for nerfs on other classes.

@ZOS_BrianWheeler Cx, learn to tweak. It will make the gameplay so much better and hopefully it will head towards the direction of funtown~
