ZOS, Please Re-enable Mementos for Usage in Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds

Many millennium ago, Memento Collectibles usage was very prevalent within Cyrodiil.

However, the pantheon of ZOS Gods have since outlawed their Mementos Collectibles repeated use and abuse, despite the fact that ZOS sells many of these colorful, glowy, and well-animated trinkets in the crown store for cash, crowns, and gems.
Despite many Mementos being paid for with crowns or gems, or the vast majority of free Mementos from quest rewards and holiday events, players can no longer enjoy the free and harmless usage of their Mementos Collectibles within Cyrodiil and beyond, especially not during holidays and ingame double-XP events. :(

Witchmother's Whistle (Halloween / Witchmother's Festival x2 XP buff memento)
Breda's Bottomless Mead Mug (New Year's / New Life Festival x2 XP buff memento)
The Pie of Misrule (April Fools / Jester's Festival x2 XP buff memento)
The annual Jubilee Cakes (ESO PC launch anniversary x2 XP buff memento)
All of these holiday event Mementos Collectibles still cannot be used while in Cyrodiil, The Imperial City, nor Battlegrounds.

Join me, the Master of Mementos, in making Mementos great again! o:)

@ZOS_BrianWheeler Mementos are fun, cool, and harmless. So, please re-enable Mementos Collectibles in the PVP zones? We would like our fun back. Mementos = More fun for everyone! :)

I know, I was simply providing the picture for quick and easy reference. The Kollopi Essence disguise provides almost near-invisibility, but you also have the bugs/swarm that fly in and around it, too. Anyway, ZOS fixed this item a long time ago. It even says it cannot be used in Cyrodiil in the item's description.
Most players use guild tabards in the Appearance/Costume/Disguise slot, too, anyways.

Yeah, the Blackfeather Court Whistle memento was one of the first mementos that I ever received, way back when, shortly after launch. It's from Crow's Wood, the Davon's Watch/Stonefalls public dungeon.

Years later, now, we have access to things like the Swarm of Crows (3-minute Crow Swarm aura), the Crow's Calling (Crow perches on your arm for a few seconds), and the Murderous Strike (Mudball but in suicide-Crow form), and tons of other mementos. Most of the good ones lately are crown store/crown gem only. But, even still, can't use any of them in Cyrodiil or PvP at all -- even though they have zero combat effect and are purely cosmetic such as costumes, polymorphs, and so on.

Finvir's Trinket, from Bad Man's Hollow in Daggerfall/Glenumbra. It provides a good source of vertical light, like a Skyshard or Elder Scroll. :)

    Looking Cool > 'Performance'

Or maybe you haven't heard of the Q4 2019 & Q1 2020 'performance improvements' that were promised on ZOS's road-map for ESO. Either way, I also greatly question the validity that Mementos in Cyrodiil even effect performance on a noticeable level. Perhaps it is simply time to upgrade your computer rig and/or internet speed to modern MMORPG standards? :/

The reason this was done was to help eliminate the semblance of trolling/kids crying because the care bears thought they were being taunted and whatnot when they were killed in Cyrodiil. I really don't think it was so much a performance thing. But I'm not about to look it up. You can still do emotes to get yer rocks off after killing someone though. If you want.

I don't recall ever seeing an official statement from ZOS about why Mementos were disabled. ZOS just decided to disable them all in one patch, several months/years ago.
Maybe some day @ZOS_BrianWheeler @ZOS_RichLambert @ZOS_GinaBruno and company would stop lurking and comment or re-enable them. Especially since the majority of Mementos cost real-money and crown gems these days versus the free base-game quest-reward Mementos.
Mementos are non-combat cosmetic effects just like costumes and emotes, which are both allowed in PvP zones; so, therefore, Mementos should be re-enabled. :)

The Witchmother's Festival/Halloween event is great; but, just like all other double XP events (NewYear/NewLife, AprilFools/JestersFestival, and the ESO PC launch Anniversary) players still cannot use the event Memento / XP buff within Cyrodiil nor The Imperial City.
Players cannot even use Mementos from within Cyrodiil & Imperial City's safe-zone areas at the alliance faction bases. It makes zero sense. The fact that Mementos are unusable puts excess burdens on players, forcing them to leave the zone every 2 hours in order to refresh the XP/event buff and is such a hassle to then have to re-queue, especially during prime-time, or when one is in an active group or deep into enemy territory, etc. when the event buff expires.
ESO and Cyrodiil would be a lot more fun if players' hard-earned Collectibles & Mementos were actually usable in the zone anywhere and at any time; otherwise, what is the point in having them in the first place?
