Ok, so MagSorc or Magplar for a strong ranged dps? Who brings the most toys to the yard?

Title says it all and without any milkshake references!!
So for PVE which is doing pretty well and will hopefully continue to do so if the next changes go live? (cant really call that can we, only week 2) Would hate to put out all sorts of effort and energy only to have it bottom out in a month. Then again, that's the nature of the beast and part of what makes doing all of this fun!! Change is as good as a Holiday they say here.
But yea, ramblings aside I am just looking for a mag class to play as ranged and be welcomed! Have my Magden so fun factor is covered in spades and find Necro a tad clunky. Have yet to be a strong fan of Sorc (other than stam) and DK is melee, both specs.
HAHAHA, guess I answered my own question!!!! Cheers all!! Ah well, answer anyways if ya want.
I guess if you stripped away all the above BS basically how is Magplar atm, since that looks like the direction I am headed. Again, pve only.

✭✭✭✭How hardcore are you? Do you care about magplars' easy access to spell crit, or will you chug spell crit pots anyway? Ok, well, I am awesome, so theres that!! But hardcore...nah. We doin vSS and that's about it for me atm so as long as I can do well in there and CR and the like, im golden! 0 -

✭✭✭✭Magsorcs do pretty well all around. I’ve been hearing things that suggest they’ll be one of the best dps builds next patch. Makes sense considering how much direct damage they can do (curse, frags, twilight tormentor, endless fury if need be, and tho a dot kinda, volitile familiar) and not have to rely on dots as much.
