I want to know, too. I wish they would announce the events more than just 2 or 3 days in advance.

Use it to fight other pokemons, of course.

Considering the short notice they usually give us it's possible there will be another event starting later this week.

Or having to cancel Midyear Mayhem threw their plans off and the 4th Onyx berry event will be the first one of Q4 then they'll have to cram the Pure Snow berry events together.

If it's the second one I just hope they don't put too much stuff in late December as I'm away most of the month and it would be really annoying to get to the end and miss out on the last indrik because their scheduling was off. (Although the Pure Snow indrik is 4th in my personal priority list, so it's not the end of the world if I miss it, just annoying.)

Could be Summerset/Morrowind celebration, Clockwork City celebration, or Undaunted event. I imagine Witches and New Life to be the 2 main events for the white berry, with Murkmire celebration and something else, perhaps one of the previous mentioned events (Undaunted or CWC seems likely).

    Undaunted Celebration
Later this year, we’re planning to host the Undaunted Celebration dungeon event.

Q2 was also just the anniversary event. But Q3 they seem to be just winging it.

This here is the reason why events were transformed from good spirited fun celebrations to a classic example of predatory microtransaction schemes. Not to pick on you, but you're being exploited by the design of these. Don't give them the pleasure, much less your money. And for the record, I fell for it too until I recognized exactly what was going on:

Step 1 - introduce a fun, community event with no strings attached to acclimate the community to them
Step 2 - introduce event-based currency that can only be earned by participating in the event; attach limited time rewards to the event that can only be purchased with the event-based currency
Step 3 - offer the limited time currency in the cash shop and cap the amount of event-based currency that can be held to force many players into the cash shop in order to complete collections or bypass deliberately designed grinds (because "convenience")
Step 4 - make future events and their prizes as convoluted and opaque as possible to confuse the buyer and frustrate them into just buying even more of the currency in your cash shop (because "convenience")
Step 5 - profit by the hundreds of thousands of dollars from your masterfully designed racket and laugh as players are mostly oblivious to the fact that you're deliberately exploiting them

To the OP, I was about to start a new thread on this very topic.... although I think a vote (poll) would be appropriate to select what other readers think will be coming up. The basic quandry is that we should still be getting a 4th event this quarter, which ends on September 30... so I'm expecting something to be announced on Tuesday (24th), for an event starting Thursday, 26 September, and spilling over into October (ending Monday 7th). This would leave plenty of time for a Witches Festival in the second half of October, followed by an Undaunted event in November and the New Life Festival in December, with one other event in between (tbd, but most likely Clockwork City). The Undaunted event can't be done this quarter, because ZoS also said they would not host any further events dependent on the grouping tool/activity finder until that was fixed. This is also why some other events have been shifted around earlier this year, and not scheduled for their usual time of the year.

My best guess for the Q3 final event is a (double drops) celebration event for either Summerset OR Murkmire (or possibly both in one), with Clockwork City in late November/early December.

Yup! And even better, the "port to FG1" way of handling the horror of queuing for a random on, say, your level 46 and ending up in some place like March of Sacrifices when you have half a dozen OTHER randoms you still need to run that day for the event no longer works.

The most obvious flaw with this theory is that events are no more confusing or complicated than they were before they started selling tickets in the crown store. Some players were totally confused by the process right from the first event which gave tickets. (And I suspect the only reason it didn't happen more often before then is that fewer people were doing the events because the only rewards were stuff you could get all year round anyway.)

They seem to have actually addressed one source of confusion by finally settling on tickets resetting at the normal daily reset time instead of a different time...or 20 hours after you last got tickets, or 20 hours after you last did that activity regardless of whether you got tickets from it or somewhere else or...

Although they haven't actually said they're sticking to one system, so players still have to try it out and share their findings to work out what the system is each event, and in theory it could change again. But at least the last few have used the logical approach of "once per day" meaning "once per 24 hour period between daily resets".

It's also no longer necessary. You don't need to complete a random quest anymore, you just need to kill the last boss.

If you want to you can just enter FG 1 solo to get your tickets.

@Starlock - you are of course entitled to your opinion. So however am I, and also I'm perfectly happy to spend RL money on my hobby, which is this game.

I gave the yellow indrik a miss as I thought it ugly. I want the onyx and the white ones. I didn't like any of the Q3 events so far, no telling about the 4th (if there is one even....) so I'm quite enjoying being able to get the tickets another way. I will likely be able to get all the tickets Q4 through events, and I'm very glad ZOS gave me and others with issues getting tickets for whatever reason another option.

I will continue to buy as I see fit, because I'm really having fun in this game. I will also continue to sub for two accounts.

    Each to her own.

There's a difference here. For tickets you only needed to kill the final boss of any dungeon meaning soloing Fungal Grotto was fine. If you wanted mysterious boxes that had the extra goodies in them, you had to use dungeon finder for a random.

Most event activities took 10-15 minutes/day for me and I got pretty much everything that dropped thus far. Witches Festival should be in the 24.10-04.11.19 time frame, so right after Dragonhold launch 21.10.19. There is still a month where they can put that 4th event. Likeliest ones: Murkmire or Summerset anniversary events since they're the only ones that didn't happen this year: IC just finished in early September, Orsinium was in August, we had a repeat of TG and DB one in late June instead of Mayhem with the initial one March, Morrowind was in February.
