Now that templar jabs become direct damage shouldnt rapid strikes too?

Does that mean rapid strikes will become too? Not that i would prefer that (or the templar change), but wouldnt the same logic apply? (I realize applying logic to zos decisions is quite brazen)

    Well it doesn't say that, and jabs was always weird in that it is a channel that procs Selene (melee damage). So my guess is there is something in the jabs code specifically that sets it apart and the way to fix it was to make it repeated direct damage.

    Logic does not apply ;)

    well they are essentially the same skill so it'd be a bit weird of they were treated differently...

    One needs a target to work, and the other doesn't, if I remember right. *shrugs*

    You do understand that changes on Jabs is kinda of a nerf because it won't benefit from Thaumaturge any more but Master-At-Arms yes?
    Which means Templars using jabs should need re-assign all their active abilities to Direct damage and reduce Thaumaturge points and put them at Master-At-Arms. Which would affect other skills in the process, especially the Aedric Spear Dots, like sweep, blazing spear, burning light, poisons.

    Trust me, Jabs going to be DD is HUGE NERF.

    And ZOS changed the skill now, after the Ravager set changes...... :D

    Templars aint using Sweeps in PvE, at least, not at the top.

    In PvP, it's also now not quad mitigated (Ele Def, Ironclad, Thick Skin, CR), I doubt you'll see much difference. We just lose off balance for not having a reason to run 75 Thaum.

    Considering how the vMA daggers/axes work,I would say no.They buff single target dots,So the skill buffing the single target dots should remain a single target dot.

    i do and i dont want the change in the first place but prefer consistency and logic...
