I am cautiously optimistic now that hybrid builds seem to be getting some love.

I'm hoping they will do more adjustments about the nerfs before patch hits to live, tho i still hate the change on dizzy swing

Basically, it invalidates the opinion of anyone who hasn’t loaded PTS and run endgame PvE. Apparently basic math counts for nothing. If you have run vet content with non-Hodor level people, you know what I mean. It was already difficult and will get much worse. Many parts have a DPS check to complete.

Thanks, that’ll make it fairly balanced on options. There are going to be a lot of people complaining that haven’t either tested or read and evaluated patch notes, so that is a valid choice as well. I’ve seen bandwagon complaints on patches that did not majorly shift the entire game before. I hope to text on PTS this weekend, as I’m a bit nervous about how the math looks, but will reserve final judgement until I see how it plays out. There’s just too many timed enrage mechanics for DPS to take a major hit without really hurting mid tier groups.
The 10 second rotation might actually help people who don’t have the lightning fast twitch reflexes as their dots won’t expire long before they get back to them, so there’s at least one benefit to slightly slower players.Alienoutlaw wrote: »rotaugen454 wrote: »Alienoutlaw wrote: »rotaugen454 wrote: »Alienoutlaw wrote: »rotaugen454 wrote: »Biased poll. when you compare them both the actual nerf is around 34% and they seem to be pushing for a 10sec rotation (PvE)

Hodor?
Hodor is one of the top raiding guilds in the world. Consistently getting world firsts ans fastest times. One of the 3 groups that have Godslayer
I am from Console, don't own a PC whatsoever to try PTS.
Judging from the the Patch Notes tho, the Nerfs are pretty hard. No one can tell me that complaining about 60% Damage Nerf is overreacting. It's just too much of a big and rough Reduction.
Also, it will probably not lead to a "Either play Spammable, Dot or a Mix of Both"-META. Everyone with Eyes can see that they are trying to align Skills to the same Level to achieve above, but they took a wrong Path.
Especially taking a look at them Nerfing the 'OP' Scamp Pet while MagSorc already performs bad enough this Patch.
The only thing I probably like are the Major Sorcery and Brutality Thing, the Warden getting Buffs as I play one myself. But there again, I think they buffed the Warden too much. A Betty Netch that gives you Purge every 5sec, Stamina/Magicka, Major Sorcery and Brutality without any Cost?(At least that is how I understood it in the Patch Notes..)
Then the Aether Debuff on activating Swarm.. It's a bit too much.😅
