“My one-eyed bride of Alinor
Fell overboard in spray
My one-eyed bride of Alinor
Depth perception led her astray...”

Are there songs or bits of dialogue in ESO that you’ve heard so many times it drives you crazy and you make up alternate words in your head? If so, what are they?

I’m the only one who does this? Players are a creative bunch, I have to think others make up new dialogue too.

The accent is too strong, I quickly craft and run to the side you can not hear her :s

"The Wood Elf known as Finedrin has been found guilty of the following crimes"

I just have my sounds turned down now and speech-to-text turned off because of stuff like that everywhere I go.

Isn't there an opiton we can actually turn these things off?
    The repetitive conversations too
I already bought Elsweyr so I think the lady and the Khajiit can shut up about what the Khajiit is gonna do about his family in Riverhold :s

Sometimes when Stuga runs up to me saying “Do you know how long I’ve been looking for you?” , I’ll mentally add a word that Samuel L. Jackson says a lot to the end.

I like the Rawl dialogue.... funny enough.

There’s a Murkmire couple chatting that wind me up.... he’s telling her how her eyes are like pools of mud or something..... every time you approach the area you can hear him.....

Sometimes I substitute words, other times (in NPC conversations) I just click through. I don’t know how many times I’ve died in stage 7 of VMA, talked to Tutor Reparius to fix gear, only to cut him off as soon as he says “Your dexterity...”

Me to, always trying to imagine how that event in Reaper March panned out.

ZoS should have an award for recreating it, either with emotes and mementos in game, mod it into Skyrim or do it real as cosplay.

Then you have gems like this
    NqhlUQwh.png
Its actually an dialog chain with the Dunmer lady abut this but not sure if they are linked.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I guess spending too much time in one area makes people get tired of the NPC talk faster. All my characters craft in Alinor, so we hear the old man asking his song several times a day. Repeat NPC dialogue is common in any RPG I suppose.

“Morning! Nice day for fishing, ain’t it? Huh ha!”

I guess the question is, are NPCs aware they are stuck in a loop? Epic NPC man seems semi self aware.
