Are there any other fantasy rpgmmos I can play now that dont nerf our characters every few months?

Yep, they do major overhauls only every 2 years (when the next expansions drop) and otherwise try to keep all classes in balance. They have fixed class system (4 tanks, 3 healers, 4 melee dps, 4 ranged dps, 4 magical dps).

I've been thinking about starting FF14 and giving this game up. Thank you for the information.

I'm tired of having to learn to play over and over and over and over and over and over plus crappy PVP server performance for years AND constant Magicka Nightblade nerfs.

I might be heading out, just thinking about it; I don't know yet.

I want to stay, but all of the aforementioned is Not Fun.
Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)
    Might be joking in comments.

Occasionally switch to Crowfall. Not perfect. But damn it's fun with castle sieges.

It really depend on what you're looking for pvp or pve? asian grind fest (off fantasy) or standard western fantasy?

For a stable/consistent pvp- you can look at Return of Reckoning- they mostly gave up trying to balance things so nothing changes- but the devs and mods there are always on a massive power trip- they give their friends top tier gear- and they turned the game into an asian mmo grind fest, and ban anyone that points that out. oh...and the lead balance guy secretly nerfs classes that beat him in pvp.. nothing game changing. long cast time abilities that hit for 6k suddenly started hitting for 4k...

    There's also:
    Neverwinter (pay to win)
    Archeage (asian grind/pay to win)
Rift (slightly pay to win) boring/generic range meta...even melee classes are given abilities that make their melee weapons hit from 28ft... yes, you're swinging a sword from 28 ft and it still hits the target.. iirc, it's f2p.

    Upcoming:
Ashes of Creation (western fantasy game, but character/gear/animations have an asian fantasy mmo look)

My partner and I have had enough of the nerfs. We rolled with the punches since launch but this is different. These more recent back and forth nerfs are the final straw.
I don't care for the forums police at this point as I am leaving eso once the patch goes live so if you disagree with my post I really dont care to read it. This is my post, make your own if you support this ridiculous upcoming patch.

I love the fantasy genre...was a huge lotro fan and harry potter fan too. It's the inner kid in me. I need a game that is more stable.
I dont want to play vanilla wow. I played wow for 10 years. It was an awesome game back in its time but i cant go back.
Same with lotro.I've loved eso for so many years and yes it breaks my heart to move on. I thought maybe some of you play multi games and can help me with some suggestions .

I need a fantasy rpgmmo not sci fi please and thanks in advance.

Final Fantasy 14 is geourgous. Not as dynamic as ESO but a lot less headaches(if any) and a smoother overall experience IMO.

    News to me.

They just seem to randomly delete moves from my character on that game for no logical reason.

Aero 3. Gone. Protect/Shell? Gone. Stone Skin.... gone.

At least ESO doesn't just delete my abilities.

None of that is overreacting or erratic. Those were changes they made with the new expansion which comes every 2 years. Unlike another game that completely nerfs/buffs/completly changes skills every 3 months.
    Protect/shell-they thought was awaste.
Stoneskin-removed and you gained a different ability that tied into how whm played.
Aero 3-removed because it was a AoE DoT and and they removed AoE DoT's from healers.

Greetings! We understand that sometimes people will leave the ESO community, or the game and want to post a “goodbye” or “quitting” thread (or something close to it). Generally, we have found that “goodbye” and “quitting” threads have a tendency to go downhill fast. It is our policy to read the feedback in “goodbye” and “quitting” threads and close them, regardless of whether they are constructive or not.
