ZOS tells me to "Quickly copy my favorite streamers fully-tested-in-pts-build" before it changes

This is the message I feel I'm receiving from ZOS:

"Dear Adventurer: We just want to confirm that you are already one of those millions of players copying your favorite streamers builds because you won't have time to theorycraft anything yourself since we will very soon change everything again. We want to make sure you don't waste your time trying to learn and create your own build, just let them do it for you. Just quickly copy a streamer's build so you can at least play it for a few weeks before it gets changed again. And don't despair if you can't get used to it on time. No!!! Because when we once again change everything in the following days, you will be able to quickly copy another fully-tested-in-pts-build of your favorite streamers to try again, and again, and again, and again. If you can't understand this complicated algorithm, we mean that clearly don't get too used to nor too comfortable with new builds anymore. Thank you for your time wasted creating your last and future builds, The Dev Team."

I'm not mad, no, I'm sad, frustrated, confused, REALLY CONFUSED, without knowing what to do regarding builds anymore. It wasn't like this when I started playing.

Also, regardless who made the builds I use, I got tired of completing a build after farming and getting gold and mats to gold out stuff, learn the new skills and rotation, adjust to new damage, adjust to sustain and adjust to survival of the new build, when I'm ready to fully use it (sometimes even after hard time adjusting), BOOM! Everything changes drastically again.

Not so long ago I finished my StamDK DoTs build, I know fully understand and practiced it after golding it out, getting the right traits and use it in veteran content, so now, instead of being ready to enjoy it with guildies, friends and groups, now I'm ready to discard it since DoTs (DK's classic) and some all-time classic DK's class skills will get really nerfed - right when ZOS said they want class identity (?). So I'm confused and already saying good bye to those gold weapons, traits and hours of farming I just invested.

It's not funny anymore, if it ever was. It's becoming like a waste of time to create builds in this game since when you are ready to use them, as I said, you need to get ready to change it again.

Yes, some pro and very experienced players "can" enjoy new builds "more time" since they are that; a lot more experienced and so a lot faster they understand, change and adjust (and still I read in forums that many leave angry), but the majority of players need a lot more time to get used to things, change and finish a new build.

So please ZOS, stop it. I want to be able to CREATE, PLAY and ENJOY builds enough time, regardless who makes them.

I LOVE <3 this game, it's beautiful, in many aspects, but I already started to hate what are you doing with builds, drastically modifying things way too often.

From some time now, I really feel creating a new build is a waste of time. :'(

Meta changes are definitely flipping the builds on their head every patch, I play pretty often and I can barely keep up. It’s pretty stressful trying to just play casually and do my part of the dps. Wall of elements earlier this year did 2.4k a second and costed under like 3k now it does 900 and costs 5k mag? What? Dps is consistently down on my characters at every level by 20-25% and hemoraging sustain like its no tomorrow even with just single target dots.

I must say several guildies and friends feel the same exact way. :(

I wouldn't copy any builds until the patch goes Live - Horns of the Reach was proof of what happens when ZOS changes combat values with the Live patch.

That being said, if you want to follow the meta, the chances of your builds being good for more than 3 months at a time aren't looking so good. We know we've got more class changes for Nightblade and Templar coming up, so I fully expect the game to keep changing.
