Hi, there. Back in 2014 I participated in ESO's beta. Due to finances however I was unable to continue playing once it was over. I reluctantly left Zidaya my Argonian battlemage behind and went on to play other games. Fast forward to mid-August of this year when a friend bought me the game (and Elseweyr) during the Steam sale. I've put about 170 hours into it since then and I'm having the time of my life. I'm very impressed with the stories, lore, art, music and even the sounds of this game. I've become more immersed in it than I've been in almost any other game save for Everquest back in my EQ days. It's been a good 12 years since I've enjoyed an mmorpg this fun, engaging and memorable. There are so many times when I've encountered a memorable NPC or storyline that I've taken to jotting down names and events in notepad notes, one for each character. That way I can keep track of the beings my characters have met and what each one means to them. It's been a trip so far and I can honestly say I haven't gotten this into having in-game characters in a long time.
While I'm sure there's fair and useful critique out there and I hope that you continue to listen to the community and take that critique to heart please don't take the insults to heart. It's sad that there are so many entitled people out there. I can assure you though they're in the minority. Most people I've talked to who play this game understand that making an mmo is never a perfect process. There's never any way to fulfill everyone's expectations. You just have to listen to players as best you can and do your best to keep the majority of players happiness in mind. I think you devs are doing that.
By the way-I'd like to give a shoutout to the Purple Button Horde. Since I've joined their guild they've been a lot of help and have been super friendly and encouraging. If anyone out there is looking for a compassionate & accepting LGBTQ-friendly guild definitely look them up.
Thanks again for an amazing game.
Appreciatively yours,
Zidaya & Secrets-Of-Nimh
