Do the fire DoT's from DK skills stack?

For example, if I were to use Flame Breath then Searing Strike, would the DoTs put on from each skill stack? Or do they replace one another?

DoTs from different skills by the same player stack, even if they are of the same type, burning in case of the two you mentioned. DoTs from same skill by the same player do not stack, that is, you can't pile up several Searing Strike DoTs on an unsuspecting victim.

In beta there has been conflicting information regarding same skills by different players, i.e. two Dragon Knights in a group using Searing Strike. Some people said they stack, some said they don't. Due to time restraints and lacking availability of other fire specced DKs I never got to test it myself.

It would really really suck for future trials if same class abilities by different players do not stack.

I am sorry to necro an old thread but it seems very important to me. Whats the current situation about the same skill but different people stacking?

Because if dots from the same skill but different people dont stack then having multiple DK is useless.

    What...

What is this useless feature. Way to underpower a class. Why would anyone base their build on DoT's after that. Why are you doing this, Bethseda? Is there any good reason? I don't see why these kind of attacks should have such a downside when other attacks can be spammed by everyone. If you think it's OP, do something with the mana cost or take off some power, but don't stop players from playing it.
