Ive heard a lot of trial groups are pretty upset over the announcement of even more nerfs on top of the nerfs we already got last patch.

How many of your groups are going to continue running after these drop?

What are those nerfs from last patch you speak of?
With scalebreaker, our raidgroup's dps has gone up so much that we manage to skip mechanics we couldn't skip before, it got actually easier for us.
Upcoming patch, not sure. Most players in my group are starting to get fed up with a complete combat style overhaul every three months and it gets annoying.
If you can't even spell sets, locations and items, you probably have no clue what you even are talking about.

Tamriel, not Tamerial, Temerial or Tamériál
    Alkosh, not Alkoash
    Dolmen, not Dolman
    Olorime, not Oloramie
    Sorcerer, not Sorceror

Multiple members are saying they will quit regardless due to ZOS changing the meta too frequently. Others, including myself, are waiting to see how the live servers will look before making a decision. If things go live as they look in the patch, I will not be playing. Currently the groups I am in are trying to progress in vSS HM or vCR+3 before quitting/taking a break next patch. Dps appears to be going down by around 25k single target next patch, and sustain looks even worse, so there isn't much point in trying to progress in HMs and speed runs. No deaths and HMs will probably be possible next patch, but much more difficult for those who did not have them before. Also getting titles like Tick-Tock Tormentor, Gryphon Heart, and Godslayer might be impossible next patch.

Waiting to see everyone's response, but initial ones are pretty morose. Struggling to progress as it is. Looks like this patch might be the deadline for us.

Have to wait and see tbh. But as others have mentioned, having to completely change everything every 3 months is getting tiring and im sure will be the reason why most people are very anxious about this patch.

PTS has only been up a day, so it’s way too early to even begin to make a judgement.

September is a busy, very changeable part of the year in real life, so I’ll be much more affected by whether my 11 - 20 regular trials partners are still able to play together at our usual time than any concern over the intricacies of the game.

I think that the underlying ideas behind the changes are sensible, spammables, DOTs and other attacks should each have a consistent power and cost across classes, while the impact of a skill should be recognisable and class specific - so a Templar’s spammable should be as powerful and expensive as a Sorc’s but would look different and might have a different, class specific impact on its target.

No surprise ZOS are trying to dial down the DPS. All the comments I saw after Elsweyr were that certain skills were “so *** broken” it was inevitable. The number of even low level groups whose solution to every mechanic is just to burn it means this was necessary. It may be a very viable tactic and really good fun, but it means you’re not playing the game, you’re just incinerating it. As long as it also means the end of crappy untelegraphed one-shot mechanics and deliberate DPS checks that sounds fine to me.

I guess my trials progression group will take time to play the PTS, sort out our lives and then decide what to do... as one poster put it, we will have to ‘ADOPT OR DIE’

Also, very happy to see so many ‘not sure’s atm...

It’s an indication that many people actually want to test the changes before making their minds up.

Pretty much have to vote not sure because Dragonhold is still a long way away and this is only the initial PTS patch notes. A lot can change between now and then.

Due to starting back at uni my playtime has nosedived from 6/7 hours a day a couple of weeks back to half an hour, maybe an hour on weekend. With these changes I have to say I'm glad I am back to casual levels. I've yet to try out PTS, but from what I've heard it is dire for stamcros (my main) and sustain is appalling. Whilst the group will keep going probably, I won't be with it. I don't have time for quarterly meta changes, especially not when they are pair with flat nerfs.

I was out of the game for a year. I came back in Juny and had a hard time equiping all my 9 characters and learning the updated rotations. Then the last patch throw all my work to the trash can, and i had another nightmare leveling skills, making dragonstar arenas and maesltroms to achieve the new meta weaponery and learning the new rotations.

And when i´m starting to get used, and simply mantain my dps... They come with the Nerf bat...

Now i have NO motivation at all to improve my rotations or gear. I´n not good learning rotations, it takes a long time and effort to me put it in my muscles.

And now ZOS tells me that i have to be half my free time in a skeleton....To lose only a 33 or 40 per cent of my progress...

Who will risk to use the random pugs, if the average damage gets down.
Who will dare to go to a trial with random pugs.

And if the average people can´t even have access to some medium difficulty gear, like Maelstrom or dragonstar weapons...

ZOS are neglecting badly the base of the game, most of the players are PVE and average joes, if the game is too easy for an elite, the response is:

    1) If you went in the power creeep path, you can´t go back, but you can stop
    2) Create new content with new difficulty levels. Ultra hard modes of the existing content, and new dungeons and trials to chalenge this few people.
3)You are not psijic. You can´t use the UNDO with the comunity and expect the people being happy losing his time and efforts.

About 1/4 of the players left and it is really hard to get together 12 players that play und the niveau we are used to. So we will have to see how long we can continue...

I am in a small casual guild , actually we play the vet trial with 10-11 guildmates most of the time .

We are about to start the VMOL progression .

When I saw the natch notes in the morning , I tell myself give up the plan definitely .

This natch notes are just too PVP focused , no guildmates like to play Craglorn vet trial over and over , they will leave the guild or just quit the game .

    ZOS doesn't care ? Alright ;)
