Nightblade, Dual Wield and bow

So I have a level 9 kajit nightblade. I have been leveling siphon, assassination, and dual wield for the most part.

I was told there is an ability that lets you leech magicka or regen magicka rapidly, I would like to know what skilll that is , or if it is a morphed skill.

I'm kind of unsure what skills are better suited for pve and pvp both.
also going to ask while I make this thread when you can do pvp and go to cyrodil. and what the pvp is like as a nightblade?

I've been doing something of the same thing. I want to do Bow as my first line of attack with either dual wield or single hand with shield as my secondary. If you get the best answers I'll be sure to follow.

I can definitely tell you that it's a pretty strong build if you go with the healing morphs. I'm level 29 on mine, and I'm taking down things almost 6 levels over me with ease at ranged, or close combat.

This one enjoys using both a bow and two blades a great deal. It has proven to be an effective combination. Khajiit believes that the skill you refer to is to be found in the ones that the magic users guild provides.

During Beta, I got my Dark elf Nightblade to 50. he was Bow primary and DW secondary. I was completely happy with him. Every time I grouped with friends, they all mentioned how much of a damage dealer I was. I really didn't get too much of an opportunity to see how he worked in AvA, as EP always seemed to be getting spanked.

It is perhaps also worth noting, that this combination requires a very active and quick approach. Again something that this one finds very satisfying.

Well, I'm not an expert on the nightblade, but in beta I was lv. 15. I can say that to me, the bow offered me the most flexibility. I did try daggers & one handed axes/maces, but my play style is to pick them off from behind and keep some distance on my enemies. In older elderscrolls this didn't always work so well esp. once a melee closed the gap, but there were still times you could sort of "cheat" on an enemy & get up on a rock/fort keep and attack with a bow, say like with Umbra in Morrowwind.

Also, I find in this game there are times you'll need a ranged weapon. For casters they can just use the staff, but I really think there are times every class needs some kind of ranged weapon. There will be times you come across a sorcerer and need the flexibility to move around the room (melee doesn't offer this and for some mobs it's really helpful to keep distance on them). Maybe, that's just a play style I prefer, but it is something to keep in mind. A staff could work, if the skills were better, but there are like 2 skills that don't help too much except in PVP. I do kind of wish I had made a high elf because they get the bonus for bows. As an imperial your racial is based more on one-handed & shield, but you do get racials for stamina/health so that still evens it out. I had no idea what the racials for them were to begin with, so I should have perhaps left imperial for a melee build.

At any rate, I think the case is fairly customizable that almost any build will work for you if you think about how you prefer to play, though there does seem to be better choices than some. Like, even though I know rogues use stamina alot, does that mean that they need to ignore health/ especially magically, yet some of your skills still use magika even as a rogue. I usually put most of them into stamina first, then health, I've put a few into magic but not many. I normally know how I want to unlock certain skills, but point allocation is a bit tricky. I'm not really a number cruncher anyway.
