Indrik berries question

Is there any chance that previous indrik berries will return?

I missed the very first one due to having severe health problems and was too sick to play.

I haven't found any information if any of the indrik berries will make a return one more time before they stop showing up at the Impresario event merchant.

Thank you.

It's possible but nothing has been announced yet.

Maybe we'll find out more tomorrow when Dragonhold becomes available on the PTS. Last time it was up the Q4 events got tested, this time there should be the ones for Q1 2020 but probably not in the first week.

I would not be surprised. I'd be very interested in the price though. Someone buying a morphed Indrik at 250 crowns per event ticket is paying...

    20,000 crowns?!
Did I do my math right?
    That seems appallingly high.

We don't know yet, ZOS have never said that indriks will be available after the end of 2019, but they haven't explicitly said they won't be either.

Personally I suspect they will be available next year, because it seems like a lot of effort to set up this whole system (including changing the feathers and berries to collectables, requiring new UI elements a few months before the end of the year) for a one-off. But I'm not confident enough to risk missing berries/feathers for indriks I want if I can help it.

I think your maths is right. It takes 4 feathers and 4 berries to make an evolved indrik, and they're 10 tickets each. So that's 80 tickets per indrik, and at 250 crowns per ticket that comes to 20,000.

Which is why I don't think they intended people to just buy them. The most expensive mount they've ever done is the Great Elk which was 4,500 crowns. Going from that to 20,000 crowns would be insane. I think it's supposed to be a catch-up mechanic. 250, 500, even 1000 crowns for a mount you already made progress towards is one thing, 20,000 to buy one from scratch is ridiculous.

I was under the impression that these indrik were limited time offers for the 5th Anniversary of ESO -- which would suggest that this year is the only time to get them. Of course, nothing is ever guaranteed to never return.

Thank you for all of your answers.

I hope ZoS decides to bring all of the different colors of berries through one more round since they did get an influx of new players when ESO went on sale.

There's tons of people who missed all of them because they literally just started playing.

If it goes to the Crown Store, I'm not even going to bother. Even though, I do like the new shiny colors, I'm not paying real money for a mount that sounds like a dying dog XD

Which by the way, if a ZoS dev sees this, please tell someone to change the sound effects of the indrik mount when it jumps. It literally sounds like a dying dog.

It's not that bad honestly. Can make that easily if you really want to. Just find some cash jobs to do instead of playing lol.

    That looks about right. 250 per ticket, 250*10=2500 per feather/berry. 2500*8 = 20k.

The intention was never that we'd outright buy the indriks, it was so that if you were short a ticket or two you could buy those, not that you'd pick the whole thing up on the spot. So you might spend 1k crowns because you'd missed a couple days, not that we'd spend $200 on each.

It's actually only like $130 for 21k crowns.

Over $100 for a mount is not that bad?

I dug a bit for another discussion a while ago and found this guide, where it's stated that they'll come back, though not when nor how.

Note that once the final event in a quarter ends, you will NO LONGER be able to purchase any of those Berries. If you were unable to complete your evolution, we recommend holding onto the ones you have, as we plan on giving players new opportunities to complete them at a later time.
