Hmm. I had ~28k on my largescale healer build in CP PvP, which would go down to ~24k in no-CP.One trick is most gankers look at health pools before choosing a target, aim for at least 23k health, preferably 25k+.

Blue max health/mag buff food (far from optimal choice of food, yes I know) - don't try this at home, kids, especially in no-CP
That was with 0 points into health, no health set bonuses, and no health enchants. No Hakeijos either, because I was too cheap for that
If I popped 3 Hakeijos on that I'd be at >25k in no-CP.
Yet I sometimes see people running around with ~16-18k health... in CP PvP... how are they even managing to go that low? No food?
From my experience, healer is needed for Stam builds or in really high premade MMR games which are kind of rare in PC EU.
The best option is if the healing you do is 30-40% of your damage. If you do 1mil damage then 300-400k healing. If the whole team has a similar setup, they will have tons of damage and healing as one dedicated healer. They will be able to burst the squishiest targets and secure the kills for the points.
So, what would you propose for a Sorc dedicated healer in BGs?
Matriarch for a group burst heal? Normally I'd use dark deal, but that's selfish.
Rapid or Radiating regen?
What about Illustrious? I haven't done any PvP healing since Scalebreaker changes, not sure if it'd be useful now.
SnB backbar with Streak + Boundless + Crit Surge. Soultrap for a DoT (to proc surge)?
What’re people enjoying sets wise? I was gonna spec my Magplar in S&B/Resto with transmutation, shackle, BS, BRP Resto for strong heals and a little off damage.

From the lack of criticism, I'd cautiously assume that the build I put forward is actually workable, then?
I realize that Sorc is not a good class for a healer, but my main is a Sorc and I have a lot of experience healing largescale with my Sorc.
So to summarize, for frontbar (Transmutation resto) I'd go with:
Illustrious, Radiating, Endless Fury, Soul Splitting Trap, Matriarch
Backbar (SnB):
Streak, Boundless, Crit Surge, Harness, Matriarch
Sounds workable to me.
Please comment/rate?
BTW, is Ward Ally any good?
It used to be quite strong before Scalebreaker, but after they changed the scaling I stopped using it entirely. No idea where it stands now, in actual practice.
