My favourite class.

But you made it to perform in PvP as just the SnB/2h BS 7th Fury class.
It was broken OP.
The rest of the stamDKs with useless.

What is a stamina Dragon Knight?

Well for starters in regards to the visuals how about we forget about Dark Brotherhood DLC and make them use fire again?
Just the visuals until you figure out what to do with CP.

Why is stamina different than magika in this class?
Because mDKs will burn you with their mystical powers. They can manifest the fire to take the form of chains and whips
StamDKs with smash you with a physical weapon.

StamDKs need tools that bring out the Class in them when they swing swords or axes.
We need the dragon in us to help us survive from enemy attacks, and make them think twice engaging us.

1) Sturdiness
If we are to be the attrition class we need to be able to keep up our stamina magika and HP.
So far you made DK unkillable with its healing Power. Isnt that what Templars should use? Stamina Templars?
Why the F do we have Cautirize and Major Mending?
Give DK more sustain and more raw Def.
Take away the Minor Brutality.

2) Attack. StamDK does not need a poisonwhip. The class is beautiful at using weapons.

3) Utilities.
You just destroyed Wings without discussion. At least make Wings have a dual function like Flying Blade. Work on some new animations. Or even better, revert the changes. Add fatique to counter spamming.
Welp you destroyed Fossilize for stamDK.
Give us a stamina CC in Stonefist
AoE gameplay-> stamina Talons and Deep Breath/Ash Cloud.

4) Update the passives. The dragonknight passives for a stamina DK offer benefits for very few actions while other classes benefit passives that cover the whole skill line or even all the class abilities. Some gain benefits for any magila usage or... any dot??

Can we feel like Dragon Knights and not like SnB Knights?

Do the same for other classes

I felt like we were stronger in the last patch than we've been since 2016. I haven't played enough in this current patch to comment much on how we relate to other classes.

Why get get rid of Minor Brutality? From a PvE perspective it's our most important passive, since it guarantees our place in any optimized group, and it is quite nice for PvP.

I think it's too late to walk back the poison theme. I think the improvement to Combustion has been quite helpful for our sustain. This was well known as a weak point for StamDK, so perhaps they will continue to examine and refine Combustion for our benefit.

I agree Poison Whip is not needed. I don't want to take up a bar space that is better filled with weapon skills.

I'm rather enjoying Stonefist as a replacement for Fossilize this patch. I don't want it to lose any of its current functionality. If it were kept the same but merely changed to consume Stam, of course I would be fine with that, but I don't think any Earthern Heart ability is ever going to use Stam on account of Helping Hands.

In my view our weakest skills right now are Inhale and Ash Cloud. Our weakest passives are, presumably, Eternal Mountain and Searing Heat, since they could just modify the skills themselves and use the passives for something more interesting or rewarding.

Edit: Personally I've always wanted Ash Cloud to be an instant cast that surrounds and follows the caster. It's slightly more useful on Console for PvP if you toggle the target cast method to automatic, but sometimes you place it somewhere useless with that.

They made stamina dk do poison damage so you would benefit more from cp as poison damage scale with stamina fire damage does not.

They could classify it as poison damage and keep the fire visuals.
They way it is now, you feel more like a poisonous frog than a dragon.

So you wanna stamDK to became defensive version of stamsorc? i.e. no stamina class skills, just ton of passives?
    Nah, thanks.

how much? a 15% at 100 points in elemental expert? That's way too little.

And I still have to find a TES dragon doing poison dmg.
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

Now that bleed damages are calculated taking into account physical resistance maybe it'd be a great idea to switch from poison to Bleed damage.

Dragon Claws and dragon bite ( like the argonian Behemoth in vMA kind of thing), making at the same time the DK the best user of all bleeding gear out there and making more sense.

Heavy bleed damage and weapon ... sounds nice to me.

Well, just an idea I wanted to share, the decision is probably already taken there...

    That would be better true.

I refuse to get my hopes up for this update considering I've never seen any dev actually play a stamDk outside of PvE tanking.

They never had any passion nor vision for this class and maybe I fail to see what the next update can change, but being too hopeful will only disappoint you in the end. So have reasonable expectations.

Stamdk can use some rework on passives yes, but what it needs the most is class spammable.

Why is it ridiculous buffs are always hidden under the term "identity" on this forum?

It does feel a bit silly using Noxious Breath as a spammable.

A rework of Molten Armaments would be nice, as well as a re-think on heavy attacks in general.

    Your perception is ridiculous

Both of those don't compare to the changes you asked for, otherwise you wouldn't have asked for them. Stop playin' :D

Molten Armaments is a great skill as-is. Why rework something which is already great? Sure, it may not apply to the meta build in current form but for builds which focus on heavy attack damage output, Molten Armaments literally makes these builds work.

Note: most ticks of the lightning heavy channel is currently *not* buffed due to a bug introduced in U23. Fix this bug and we'll be all good!

Sounds great.. actually blood&fire theme seems way more interesting that poison&fire.. also in terms of uniqueness too.
