Hello,

Could someone please fill me in regarding what is happening storywise in the Scalebreaker dungeons ? I finished Elsweyr and I want to keep up with the season of the dragons stuff, but dungeon DLCs are not worth it for me hence why I'm asking :)

Thank you!

They're basically side stories that don't really have much to do with the story from Elsweyr outside of the presence of dragons. All I know is the plot to Moongrave Fane
involves a clan of vampires shooting a dragon out of sky to harvest its blood to make themselves stronger.

Edit: named the wrong dungeon, corrected

I wish I could tell you but as always no one wants to run dungeons for the story and just speed runs them. Wish they would make soloable versions of dungeons that you could do the quest daily on that just gave XP as a reward. One to help new players level when they have to get to CP 810 as well as just so some of us can enjoy the lore.

Just make the difficulty level of the solo version that of a public dungeon. No gear drops, maybe basic trash for crafting/deconstructing, and a big XP dump for completing the quest daily or maybe same XP as completing a dolmen.

My bad. I remember watching the devs play thru it and mixed the names up. Haven't gotten around to doing them both myself.

If you're PC NA, I'll gladly help you go through to farm the story.

I would vote for overland gear matching the zone the dongeon is located
For exemple FG1 would drop stonefall set
