Hello!
I want just ask about, how the Resistance cap works actually? It can be higher than 30-33k resistance, or just cannot absorb more than X% damage? For example if the Resistance cap is 33k and i have 43k thats means 10k penetration worth nothing on me?

✭✭The cap is for maximum 50% damage mitigated by resistances. If you have 33k res and somebody has 12k penetration you will mitigate 40%. But if u have 45k resistance then you will mitigate 50% because 12k penetration will still bring you to the cap.Because I can!8 -

from what i've gathered the cap is 33k (33.100?) and that equals 50% damage mitigation. you can go higher but the damage mitigation is still 50% if you have 33k or 40k resistances..
but if you have 40k resistances and you get targeted with (for example) Major Fracture or Major Breach you will still have resistances above the cap and it will still mean 50% damage reduction. so going above the cap has no immediate effect but can prove handy when targeted by Fracture/Breach..Edited by mzprx on September 7, 2019 11:10AM6
