Which is your most favorite faction with respect to questing, lore etc ?

I think they are all equal, and whether one is more equal than the others is purely down to individual feelings. Personally I have multiple characters in all the alliances and appreciate the quests, lore and gear etc equally. I don't PvP so "faction" isn't an issue for me.

I found the Rivenspire story the most striking. My favorite character though might be the Bosmer King, but he has a very limited appearance. Stibbons is a fun running gag that you can look forward to in each DC zone.

I think EP suffered from being my gold zones. I was rushing a bit at that point to just level. I need to play it again and take my time.

Reaper's marsh had an amazing story line and AD has the most enjoyable characters.

Shadowfen comes in a cloose second when it comes to story, but they have no characters that I like.

With the exception of those 2 zones there are some really good quests randomly soreaf out in the different zones.

I felt more compelled by the Daggerfall Covenant story line than I did for the Ebonheart Pact, and while I haven't finished the Aldmeri Dominion story line yet, I haven't felt as quickly drawn in as I did with the Daggerfall Covenant

I liked some of the questing in DC but AD has best zones imo. Auridon alone is probably the most beautiful vanilla zone. I love alik'r though but even i as a breton main have to say that glenumbra is pretty bland and most of high rock for that matter. I love the race as a battle mage but high rock isn't all that interesting to be honest compared to zones from other alliances.

Breton is my favourite race but I'm giving it to AD because of the zones. The only vanilla DC zone i like really is alik'r desert. I guess we have wrothgar now which is a great zone but if we are counting dlc then we have to count summerset and elsweyr and there's no competing against that. The other factions have had chapters that give them great zones but we have kinda been left out to dry over here. EP got Vvardenfell which is a good zone and AD got two chapters in a row with summerset and elsweyr but we got jack. Hope the next one is ESO: hammerfell because that would probably become my new favourite zone as i love alik'r so much. Guess we will wait and see.

Personally I don’t feel that any of them managed to sustain 5 zones... there’s a lot of one zone filler and not great story arc for any of them.

I got bored by Emeric’s constant vacillation and hated

Loathed Malabel Tor and the constant forestry of the AD zones although this had the strongest overall arc

EP in keeping with the structure of the pact is very bitty

For me the most interesting thing is that none of my recent characters (ie any since Morrowwind) have done any of the alliance storylines in their journey to level 50 - although they’ve visited the zones to get skyshards and lorebooks

And given I don’t do Cyrodiil PvP the alliances don’t mean anything to me

EP is the weakest when it comes to quests in my opinion. I liked Bleakrock a lot and Shadowfen was good too, but after that I personally lost some interest because of how boring the area was visually (for me). More or less the opposite for Skyrim zones.

DC has very good questlines, mainly Rivenspire and Alik'r. Stormhaven was nice too, and I enjoyed Glenumbra.

AD is good too, maybe the best. It has good quests like DC, but the aspect I like most is how all of them are part of the same big storyline, while DC felt more fractured into the different zones.

When it comes to lore, all of them are good. Maybe DC is weaker because Breton lore doesn't stick out as much as the other races, and there's no Orc zone (Betinkh is too small). I can't say which races have the best lore because I view lore as a whole, since the races share the past.

As for aesthetics, in my opinion DC is good, with the contrasts between the green High Rock and the desert of Alik'r. On paper I'd think the desert would be a boring zone but honestly it looks so unique and pretty.
I love the Skyrim zones of the EP. They're just so beautiful in my eyes. On the opposite side, Black marsh and Morrowind zones are really boring to me. I like them in small doses but spending so much time in them burnt me out quickly.
Auridon is a beautiful zone, and I liked the jungles of Valenwood, but AD zones don't do much for me when it comes to aesthetics.

In conclusion, I'd suggest a new player to play through all of them. Even though they have their highs and lows, it's overall a very good experience.

Put it this way, AD still exists and rules over most of Tamriel during the events of TES5 Skyrim while DC and EP have seized to exist because they are failed alliances 😂
