you are definitly right with that , not gonna argue - but it would still be nice to finally get some more really new special stuff , associated with the latest DLC´s and Chapters. Like the Elsweyr stuff we got a few weeks ago. Nice Alinor stuff is long over due imo. I mean its cool and all that they try to spice old weeks up with new additions ... but arent newly themed weeks even more exciting ?

Realistically, we need both. Recyling old items with one or two new items in the theme allows players to flesh out their houses done in a particular style with some of the old furnishings. It also allows new players to acquire those older items without paying a premium for them on guild stores.
So as exciting as lots of new items would be, and I'll freely admit that I'm a sucker for plants of any type but especially the Alinor ones, there's a lot of value in the recycled weeks. I don't like every week - the torture-themed ones get a hard pass from me - but I know there are players who want those items. So it works out.

Ofc the old stuff is also important and theres still a lot of items i want to obtain too that i missed out on.
Its just frustrating that it takes ages for stuff that should have been there an eternity ago. I mean look at how "old" summerset is at this point and theres still so much stuff that should have been basic in the first place still missing. This goes not only for that chapter but items in general. Look at Murkmire as another example. They should add a second vendor and have them switch every week. One week Zanil with old stuff+plus new theme fitting additions - the next week his brother or cousin with completely newly themed stuff - or both on special occasions and anniversarys. Maybe also make them part of an event so people with less gold will have the opportunity to buy expensive stuff with tickets. They could do so much more, its just frustrating at this point how slowly housing is progressing cause it could be so much more.
