No, I think at your level, you don't get xp for enemies far below your level.
if you hunt the ones high above your level you can do wit far fewer.

Some guy in wow leveled to 85 picking flowers

You don't get exp for mobs like 6 or so levels below you, so you'd have to keep moving up and finding bigger ones.
