Wow... that guy at the end. I've never seen so much skill... so much tankiness... so much dps... so much power...
Oh wait - yes I've seen it! In Arx Corinium there was once a similar DD who did exactly the same thing to the snake boss.
    Genius!

Sorry to say that but that is far from what is considered as ganking.

Gank is smth fast with tons of damage. You are doing 1)slow 2)no damage at all 3) spamming nb funnel health? Rly? This is not ganking.
    What to do:
1)switch spell strat to spinner(to increase calurion damage)
    2) drop funnel out of your panel and never pick it again
    3) range<melee(if you are not stamina)
    4) make normal cuts of 3-6 seconds kills. Currently it looks like you dont know how to press some buttons

Your kills take too long to be considered ganks. You’re not using any actual combo either, super inconsistent. I’ve seen MagBlades pull of ganks and this isn’t it sis.

Mmmm. You may get better in time, but so far this isn't considered ganking. Search ganking in YouTube and you will see what is all about.
A gank kill usually take 2 seconds or less.

    2:22...just wow.

Not going to criticize your gameplay but other than maybe the first kill, I can't define your style as ganking.
    Awful playstyle. Cloak spamming. Cheesy.

This you can take as a compliment though.

Uhm, maybe I am old school, but that is not how i define ganking.

generally in gaming this is how we have defined ganking for the last 25+ years.
Ganking -To kill much weaker players in an online video game in such a way that they cannot defend themselves.

Please, don't try gank. Try at least to learn how to kill a guy. After you learn this, you will learn how to gank.

And after a couple of months you will learn the amazing art of counter-ganking, in which, as a NB, you will make a great service by ganking those who are ganking your allies
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

False! Ganking is like performance art. Best not to get a real degree in another medium of artistic expression. Just trust your instincts. The more outrageous and nonsensical the better. Shun playing other classes. There is only one path to the top of the mountain.

True. Just as nuclear fast attack boats are the best hunters of other subs. So it is with gankers. It's like that scene with Bill Murray in Caddyshack. You need to get into their skin and crawl around a bit before you can truly understand your enemy.

"To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit -- ever. They're like the Viet Cong -- Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote."

Hm, i wont agree with that. You can gank high-level fat-build player with your glass canon that deals TON of damege. Does it mean this person weaker?-In 1v1 open world without invisibility i guess not and still can kill you cause of your glass canon build.

I find it endlessly amusing that cloak is so reviled, but there are so many other play-styles and approaches allowed by the game that don't get the same reaction.

Just yesterday for instance on PC NA I ran into a

DC templar who was basically unkillable, highly mobile and lethal when they pushed onto offense.

DC Nb who was up on the rock outside bleaks doing the old psjiic ultimate and shade thing from off of the rock. He doesn't ever bother cloaking btw. Just roll dodge and great mobility.

AD Sorc who pro shield stacks (and I mean that in an admiring way) and streaks with detect pots. Kept streaking back into zombie land outside BRK for the rope a dope on anybody who chased him out there.

There are countless others. And to be clear these are all very good players. But while there are some good tactics you can use to take them on, usually in a group, there is no way to completely negate their abilities short of a real negate on a magicka player, like there are with cloak. I guess because you can still see these guys it's not as frustrating and less outrageous? Ironically, they are no where near as vulnerable as a player who relies on cloak for escape.

The issue with the cloaking, is that it is widely used to gank. Leaving the victim died without any chance to counterplay it. Because how can you defend against a enemy that you can't see nor know is there. But has the ability to CC combo you from cloak before you have the chance to play the game against them. They are the single reason why Tank Zerg META has gotten completely out of control. Because victims don't find it fun to just die out of nowhere from a enemy they can't see and have a fight against.

Other playstyles you can see clearly. Therefore outside of CC Onslaught combo builds. You can prepare to defend and even fight against. Unlike against cloaked enemies that also get a bunch of added modifiers for attacking from cloak.

I've always found it amusing that "ganking" causes more controversy and friction than 20+ people chasing to kill 1 guy. Lol

By comparison ganking is 100 times easier to counter and kill the player attempting it.

(Aside from attacking someone who is obviously afk)

The thing about those people who blow you up is they are good players. Thier timing and animation cancel are on point and thier builds are very selfish. All it normally takes is 1 cc on them in turn and it's good night. I have had a LOT of bad gankers fail the combo and get waxed.

So my point is why get mad as the ganker whos is good at what he does? Is it any worse than the stamdens who were shalk/dbos combos? Is it worse than the sorcs who can land perfectly timed curse rune frag combos? Is it worse than the temps now who dot you up and let purify and potlblow you up?
