Dumbb Imperial City Question

Not being a Pvper, all I want to do is Get to the Imperial City and do some event stuff while checking it out. I've been there before, a long time ago. All I did was ride my mount to the sewer entrance. However, the last time I did that, the entrance was closed and the Imperial city is on an unapproachable Island.

So I did some research. Says you get there from the Campaign list. So I use it, select CP Imperial City. It puts me in a Queue. And I wait....

And wait and wait... and check the queue where I am listed as " 1 "... and wait some more

and finally leave the queue and log off to check forums.

Did I do it right and have to wait for 6 or more hours? Or did I do something wrong?

Inquiring minds would like to know

you must have been bugged, only solution is to re queue

note: if you use a wayshrine while in any queue it seems to bug it out. not always but enough where I try not to wayshrine

Does it matter if I am in Cyradil when I Queue? I popped in to Cyradil to pick up the Imperial City starting quest before trying to get to IC. Would it be better to queue from outside Cyradil?

No, it doesnt matter. You can queue into IC from Cyrodiil.

Sounds like it is bugged. Try queueing again. If that doesn't work, wear the pot on your head.
