Will the day ever come for PS4 (maybe PS5) players to get something like combat metrics in this game or is this wishful thinking?

This again? Do you not search the forum to see if this has been addressed previously (and recently) before posting?

If wasn't feeling ill at moment would link threads for you.

But generally opinion was mainly No.

I'd be searching old news or "necro-ing" a thread which people would still reply with same comment as you made. By making a new post, I would assume that give me the most recent news. Thanks for the simple no. I wasn't thinking it was gonna happen any time soon anyway.

It's unlikely you'll ever see anything like this. It took ZOS years to give you a DPS report for target dummy tests. And there is already a vocal minority on PC who want ZOS to close the API that allows Combat Metrics to exist.

The base game is missing so much basic functionality that I don't know how you guys play it on console without having an uncontrollable desire to uninstall the game. I run over 50 add-ons and probably wouldn't be able to play the game without half of them.

Um us console users just play the game? It’s quite fun really. 😉

Have seen some PC screens with all their add-ons and it’s awful - how do you actually see the game to play it?!

As stated several times before, this depends if Sony/Microsoft change their position regarding mods/addons.

Sony/Microsoft do not have a position against mods, that I'm aware of. Skyrim has mod support on console. ESO could too, but they just don't.

So long as its curated they don't have a problem. If ZOS/Bethesda guarantee the mod is safe then it could be added.

To be honest ZOS adding their own mods seems like a no-brainer. I mean, they create an API which makes enhancing the game a relatively simple thing and don't even use it for themselves?

    This I do not understand.
